"I'm just big-boned, not obese!" Daniel would reply whenever someone questioned his weight. Of course, this was not accurate; Daniel was aware that while he cannot really be called obese, he was on the verge of being one.

It's not like Daniel did nothing to improve his condition. He had tried a variety of methods to lose weight, including exercise and diets. He even attempted some of the most popular diets, such as the Keto diet and the Mediterranean diet, but nothing worked. The only thing he didn't do was liposuction or surgery, but he did consider those options.

"Hey, Terry, what should I do to lose weight?" Daniel approaches one of his gym buddies. "I tried many different things, but nothing seemed to work."

"How about you try being consistent?" Terry responded as he wiped sweat from his brow. "Although you tried many things, you lacked consistency and would try new things once you realized there wasn't much of an effect," he continued.

"That...," Daniel paused. Terry was telling the truth, and he knew it. Despite the fact that he had tried a variety of things; he would get bored of it after a while of seeing little change in his weight, and would quickly lose interest.

"I understand how difficult it is to be consistent, but you will not see any results if you constantly change your method and rush," Terry explained. "Look at me, it took two years of doing the same thing over and over again just to get this body."

Daniel pondered Terry's statements for a long time after returning home and changing his clothes. Daniel finally reached a decision after a long time. He would follow Terry's advice and stick to one method. It may take him a long time to notice results and he may become tired with it. But, if he truly wants to improve, he must learn patience and consistency.
