US States File Antitrust Suit Against Google

While this is fairly recent news, it's not hot off the presses. However, the reams of filings involved have kept detailed analysis from popping into my view, I think.

Until I saw this headline from The Register: 'Google's 'Be Evil' business transformation is complete: Time for the end game.', published Nov. 1, 2021.

Detail you're likely aware of already is that Google and Facebook colluded to defraud advertisers, and advertisees, and that Google has repeatedly lied regarding the business it conducts in order to better collect as much advertising dollars as it can.

"Google is screwed or society is."

I wish I had any confidence in our courts, and that Google was screwed. I've just seen us getting screwed too many times to have any confidence now.

Here's the takeaway from the author of the referenced article.

'Data trading for ad revenue must be regulated like finance, aviation, medicine, and power. The giants who've cheated must be broken up to their smallest viable constituent parts, and their future interactions be through a framework of radical accountability.'

While I, again, doubt anyone will must up the gumption to radically hold them to account, maybe we can at least see FAGMAN (Facebook, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, and Netflix) held to the standards Big Pharma is.

Oh, wait...

I agree. I am reminded that Twitter banned Trump, and Xi banned Twitter. The relative power of the players is visible for them looking to see. I am reminded of Andrew Jackson's comment on the Supreme Court ruling against him, to the effect that they had ruled, but had no ability to enforce their ruling.

Dear @valued-customer, Do you think that Google will decline and divide?
In the world I live in, Google is a money-giving mammon.

I do not, but I also expect the masterplan of overlords to fail due to their incapacity to understand functional society, and for decentralization to gradually erode the imperial NWO as the immigration of barbarian hordes overwhelmed the Western Roman Empire.

I only hope no analogous Inquisition follows in the clash of ideology that grows from the consequent incorporation of novel interpretations of civilization, as did the Catholic Church employ to resolve heresy when it became the imperium, as the corporatocracy seeks to become today.

Hmm, The world I currently live in is beginning to be dominated by Chinese immigrants. Currently, Chinese capital dominates the country.
I think it will soon become an economic colony of China.

The world I live in is dominated by state. Events similar to the medieval Catholic Inquisition are taking place here.
