John Carter (2012) - An interesting and captivating science fiction story.

Hello everyone, in this post I will try to expose a small review of a good and relaxing film, which from my point of view is worth seeing, clearly ..... I honestly did not feel when those 2 hours and a bit have passed. He was well worth his time.

John Carter is an interesting science fiction production with good graphics and beautifully created characters - the visual effects (John's jumps, for example), the atmosphere, the Martians and the creatures on Mars look great. However, the plot could have been better constructed so that you don't watch the movie just for that wonderful graphics - in the end I can't complain about what I watched. For SF consumers, it is a really successful film, which I recommend with confidence. The script is good, I was not totally disappointed, it's a beautifully woven story with a little bit of each: - suspense, action, comedy, love and a lot of adventure ..... conclusion: it's a must see!

A short summary of the film.

John Carter directed by Andrew Stanton is inspired by the novel "A Princess of Mars" by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The film "John Carter" tells the story of a Civil War veteran who fought for the Confederacy. After being chased by the Indians, he arrives in a cave, being teleported to the planet Mars (called by the inhabitants of Barsoom). Due to the atmosphere and increased gravity, John Carter (Taylor Kitsch) gains extraordinary strength, being able to jump huge heights, but he is taken prisoner by the Green Martians, some 4-handed green giants after he manages to escape with the help of Tars Tarkas with Princess Dejah Thoris who comes from the Red Martians.

What impressed me the most were those landscapes. Of course, Mars doesn't look like that - now we know that, but at the time the story was written, it was believed that Mars could support life. The point is, if Mars could support life similar to that of our planet, it would probably look like this in the movie.

Ok, in general from time to time i take a look at the creations of those who expose those captivating conspiracy theories about Mars or alien life - interesting is the fact that even today there are still human beings who believe that the planet Mars would be able to support life - ok, so there are some who believe that Mars already has inhabitants who have strong diplomatic relations with certain earthly organizations, leading from the shadows. Honestly, i don't know - i have no way of knowing, but i would still like this conspiracy theory to be real.

Anyway, so i really liked the story of the movie - it takes you into that fantastic world and you have no reason to "wake up" to reality for two hours and something - i was stuck in the world of John Carter - I would liked a little sequel to this wonderful story. It is interesting that the creators of this story and movie managed to create a short history of some Martian races. The aura of an empire, the position in which all the protagonists managed to identify culturally in our perception, and this exalted us in our experiences. The film started out quite interesting and along the way it became even more interesting.

It is best to watch it in the evening when you are quite relaxed and you can see a really good movie and you will not get bored, it always keeps you in suspense and does not become boring at certain moments. The film should not be missed.
