I record 4 full albums in 2021, on my own, to fight the surrounding insanity. I am proud of myself and you should be too.
Yes that's right. I am super proud of this so I'll write a full post about it to pat myself on the back and sing my praises high and loud, because according to me, I deserve it 😂.
No money, no producers, no recording studio, no other musicians, no manager and unfortunately not really any listeners either but that won't get me down at all, here is why.
15 years ago you could get popular instantly on youtube all you needed to do is put boobs in the thumbnail. Secret to success? Boobs (also Asses worked as well). But what about the music I asked myself? I took a decision then and let's just say I stuck with it. What decision? Don't play games (like boobs in the thumbnails) but just record the music you like, just play the music you want to hear and don't really give a shit about anything else.
I NEED TO LIKE MY MUSIC, that's it. This the only satisfaction I crave, not popularity, thumbs up, likes and such. I want to expand on that for a second.
Over the years I developed my skills, I am now comfortable enough with all my instruments to record almost directly the music I hear in my head. Yes I don't hear voices in my head but I do have melodies coming out of nowhere (specially when it's silent around me). The possibility to record a full track that includes 5+ instruments in real time, on the spot, fully improvised, is now like a super power to me. What I really mean is a 3 minute track you hear from me is recorded, mixed and completed in 3 minutes. I posted a few of my ONE TAKE Series on #hive or check my youtube to know what I am talking about.
I don't know if you noticed but the world is going to shit. Politicians. First I thought they were corrupt, then I thought they are stupid but now I think they are just evil pawns. I live in Canada. I see this medical authoritarian beast growing worldwide but let's just say Canada is in the leading pack of segregation, discrimination, insane psychopathy and plain genocidal tactics depending on what awakened levels you're at.
What should I do? I warned friends and family about the agenda at play (years in advance) but very few listened to me.
What's left for me? If I can't change the world around me? I decided to stay focused on my music. I see myself like those musicians on the Titanic that decided to keep playing as the boat sunk... The only difference is I am not on the boat but I am looking from the shore and feel sorry for all those fuckers that are gonna drown but I won't follow them even if they scream at me that I should. I'll play music as long as I can because I came to the conclusion that is one of my main tasks in this life.
My most recent album got published yesterday and is titled PARTIAL GUARANTEE
but was recorded fully in November and December 2021.
My theme all year for those 4 albums was to mix #FUNK #JAZZ and #ELECTRO.
You tell me if I succeeded or not but somehow, I kind of know already I did.

You have at least one. Me. I like your music. The "Partial Guarantee" is an interesting album. It is indeed a nice mix of funk, jazz and electro. I Iike it very much. You deserve a lot of viewers. And you will probably have them after you uploaded the complete album on YouTube. Literally anyone/everyone can listen to it.
I have not listened to the "Dedicated Normies" yet, but that is probably also a good album.
Nowadays I live in financial discrimination (under the local minimum wage) because of them. It would be hard not to notice it.
