Very true. Indeed, wealth is now a function of one's tech savynness. Two Nigerian boys sold a digital payment gateway for $200 million few days ago. That's worth billions of Naira and that singular stride shoots them up the wealth ladder over many traditional businessmen.

How does that single development affect not only those boys but the people who are around them?

That is the type of stuff that needs to keep happening, both large and small. In addition to them get $200 million, how about getting 100,000 Nigerians $2,000? That would also be a good starting point.

That's just the ills of centralized financial tools. Paystack was 100% centralized. They both bagged the profit leaving behind the users of the app who made its value rise.

In addition to them get $200 million, how about getting 100,000 Nigerians $2,000? That would also be a good starting point.

If it were a decentralized fintech tool, I'm sure that those who have used it over time would have been compensated.
