Resolutions

So everyone is shouting Happy new year everywhere
Well I don't know how to scream mine but a big shout out to all the hivers 🔊🔊🔊 A Happy fruitful new year to everyone, we looking forward to a more fruitful, increasingly greater, and prosperous year to each and everyone here on this platform.

Well personally I not been so elated like this on a new year for the past years but this year is really great and rewarding already but............. Let's wait a bit, sorry for interrupting your excitement let's together check this out
I would like dropping it in different so u could understand better

NIV:But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.
AMP:But Daniel determined in his heart that he would not defile himself by [eating his portion of] the king’s rich and dainty food or by [drinking] the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might [be allowed] not to defile himself.

In the past 4-5 years I can't recall making resolutions ok let's talk about 2021 the year I turned an adult and responsible for my actions and doings but I never made resolutions, I just jumped into the year and catching a lot of cruise, I was having a lot of fun ,of course I had money, I made so much money at the end of the monthsss but I wasn't thinking, I wasn't placing things where it was supposed to be.
Later on I had some financial issues that weighed me down a bit, but I have gotten up

I brought in Daniel, Daniel had a blueprint of how his stay in that kingdom would be like, he drew the plannn and enforced it, letting everyone know the type of business he came for, he set boundaries, restrictions and he made sure no one stepped on them
I am sure it was quite tempting because jeeeezzzz who would resist sumptuous mouth watering delicacies and royal services to just veggies for that whole period of time, I mean they weren't checking their weight but they pulled out, stood firm to their resolutions to the very end

And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.
ESV:At the end of ten days it was seen that they were better in appearance and fatter in flesh than all the youths who ate the king's food.
NIV:At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food.
AMP:And at the end of ten days it was seen that they were looking better and had taken on more flesh than all the youths who ate of the king’s rich dainties

Probably if they were checking weight they are already robust.
This was a result of concrete determinations
Many of us make determinations then sooner or later we are carried away

So tell me, the year had begun, have you made your resolutions or you are yet to, what's your year going to be like

You don't really want to miss out the numerous opportunities coming your way? are there friends you really need to cut off this year? Are there attitudes and habits you need to do away this year?

2021 would have been bigger if I had placed things right but I am not regretting tho but getting more knowledge.

So what am I really saying make concrete resolutions, sandwiched with strong determinations, set boundaries and enforce them, make good use of opportunities that comes your way, if you really need to stand out and be different please do...... No one's gonna kill you and you are not somewhat a social misfit, u HV your style and it's unique as far as it breeds positivity

The other day I posted on my WhatsApp status how the new year is gonna be like and a friend of mine called me an extremist who the heck cares, if you can't stick to the rules, it's my life's not yours.
Don't ever let anyone trash your opinions as far as the are right
