Post-Partum Care Is Essential For Mothers Too
I observed something. One of the things we pay little or no attention to but it's of utmost importance. We all know that a woman gets pregnant, and carries a seed with all forms of discomfort and complications for nine good months before releasing it.

You could imagine the pains she went through just to secure the life of another human sitting inside of her. Everyone seeing her anticipates the gift she carries. People start sending gifts and other valuables to the anticipating baby. Shopping is done for the baby and several items are bought basically for the baby.
And when the time comes, for the baby to be delivered, everybody welcomes the baby in a grand style. Everybody hangs around, not basically because of the mother, but the baby.
The baby is being carried by so many, family, friends, and relatives and all the focus is on the baby. Parties are being thrown for the baby as well.
Little care and no affection is given to the mother at that point. Meanwhile, the mother is going through a lot of pain while trying to breastfeed and heal from the tears or stitches.
But just so you know, here are the few things a woman is prone to after delivery.
Bleeding
Sore, hard, painful, and engorged breast
Swollen and bruised vagina and if it is a c-section she is opened to have painful incisions.
Depression, anxiety, mood swings. All of these are called baby blues. These sets in a few days after childbirth.
These and many more are the ordeals a woman faces after childbirth. Hence it is important to also give 100% attention to a woman that has just given birth.
I love to see nursing mothers look beautiful and fresh after childbirth and this can only happen if family and friends also pay attention to her(the nursing mother).
It is quite important to celebrate both the mother and the baby.
