The Way I cooked My Bittergourd

Hello wonderful hivers happy Thursday. Days are passing like hours, it's getting faster and faster we're on the half of the year. Sixth month June, and the rainy season will off to start anytime in the month. Hope our water world will not cause too much flood in each house. I mean we're already enduring the tough water outside our houses. Sometimes my kids are tired of paddling around, they can't go anywhere without a boat. Some of our neighbours are not even staying in their house. They choose to stay in their relative near the road and just go home at night. We're the house that lived so near the road and hubby said that if he had other choice he will choose to move to a new place, his getting annoyed to see the changes.

But for the meantime we have no choice but to stay on our humble home. And for my today's post I will share my simple and delicious recipe. Do you know someone that doesn't want to eat Bittergourd? Well his reason are understandable because it's really bitter LoL 😅😂 but I was thought how to remove it's bitterness

Ingredients

1 large Bittergourd
1 medium onion
2 medium tomatoes
2 duck eggs
1 tablespoon fish sauce
Seasoning
Cooking oil
Water
Rock salt

Procedure

Wash and cut the ingredients needed, the rock salt is the secret to remove the bitter taste. After slicing it put one tablespoon of salt and squeeze it untill it's liquid release then wash it thoroughly.
In a pan put a small amount of cooking oil saute the garlic, onion and tomatoes. Add the fish sauce, seasonning, half cup of water and Bittergourd don't mixed it! Beat the eggs and put in the pan. Now mixed them all together, my grandmother told me that when cooking Bittergourd you must mixed it only once. So the taste will not be bitter. This is proven, hope you learn some techniques to me. You can even tell me if it went effective or share to us your own technique in cooking Bittergourd. But me and my husband loves it bitter taste.

That's our favorite too sis with fried fish specially the blue mackerel scad! 😋😋
Hope we won't have floods this year sis. I wonder how deep is the water in your yard sis? Is your area the lower part of the dike? I am just curious how you now became underwater or surrounded with water that used to be dry diba?
