Welcome Back RTU-Cutie!

After three years of struggle in the pandemic, we are now able to do in-person sessions. A memorandum that was published last year mandated that college students return to 100% face-to-face education. Imposing it was difficult since I live in the National Capital Region, where there are numerous cases of COVID. This pushed Rizal Technological University to execute the class's full implementation in the second semester of 2023.

I went back to my university last Wednesday, January 25, 2023, to take in-person classes. Since no one funds for my education and my only source of income is blogging and other part-time jobs that only occasionally come up each month, the problem is that I am not financially prepared. However, because I am committed to graduate and work as a future human resource practitioner, HR director, and other positions in that field, I would like to return to school and complete my studies. I'm encouraging myself to keep learning because I only have a few semesters left before graduation.

I made sure I could take my son to school before I left the house. The good news is that we both go to school in the afternoon, so my mother will have to fetch him up at 6 p.m. So when I came home, I took care of myself right away so that I wouldn't be late for school.

I left our house around 1:30 in the afternoon to go to school. This time, I simply went with my father, who was also heading to the warehouse. He currently has a part-time job as well, but I no longer demand that he support me with my studies because I am capable of doing it on my own. Yes, I did just tell him that I could pay for my own tuition, but in reality, I am extremely frugal with all of my expenditures.

I arrived at the university a few minutes before 2 p.m. I'm fortunate since the flight takes an hour at commute hours. Fortunately, Papa is an expert at discovering shortcuts.

I was nearly weeping when I got to school because, in all honesty, I genuinely miss my institution. As I move around, I observe how joyously some of the students are interacting with one another. Some people are also extremely energetic since they spotted their friends who had traveled from other provinces and had decided to live in a boarding home close to the institution due to the requirement of in-person classes.

I gradually came to see how important societal interaction is to others. There are still some people who prefer to be around friends although I am often satisfied being alone. I do, in fact, have friends, and I like being a butterfly; yet, I don't really pick my friends. But I also love spending time by myself while conversing with others; I refer to this as "me-time."

My young classmate from when I was only an LLL student was the very first person I saw at school. He is Paran, an IT student, and we are still great friends even today. Fortunately, he was available because they didn't have a professor at the moment. As a result, he chose to join me till we spotted several of my classmates in my block. Some of the others who will be with me for the whole of the semester also showed up a short while later. We've already gotten to know each other through online lessons, but the thrill is different since I'll be able to interact with them in person and you'll get to know their personalities.

We went to our classroom after waiting in the university's waiting area. Our building has four stories and no elevator, so we regularly use the stairs. Actually, because I truly need to drop a lot of weight, this is to my benefit.

This is the layout of our classroom. There are two air conditioners and four fans in the entire classroom, which is fortunate for us HRDM students. You must bring a jacket so that you won't get chilled when the terror professor roasts you.

Of course, taking photographs with pals will not go gone after seeing some academics that day. It's a pity since the other teachers wouldn't let us take photos, so it was just myself and my classmates.

We opted to eat first at a well-known fast-food business, McDonald's, since the last class just dismissed. However, because KFC is directly across from the chain, I just got my food there and returned to the table with them. We spoke about and shared several stories that made us chuckle. It is accurate to say that the actual class is also a lot of fun. However, because the conventional method of education in the Philippines is so expensive, I still wish to adopt blended learning. I am really thrifty since just the fare takes up so much of my money. I definitely must save money because we will start making a thesis by the end of the month.

Anyway, I studied when I came home since one of the professors who teaches major subject demands advanced reading. In fact, since he wrote the book, he also mandates that we purchase it. The book is a little pricey, but I have no choice but to buy it due to my desire to study.

Thank you for reading! 💖🥰😇

It's interesting to read about the reality of university or college students in different countries 😯 it is very expensive almost everywhere, but if you have a goal and a dream It will pay off in the near future 💪 looks like you had a joyful Wednesday with all the excitement for the firs day of class and reencounter with your classmates 😁

I really had a wonderful day with the pals. Sometimes, it feels like I wanna go back in virtual classes but I can attest the fact that in person class has a lot of advantage too. 🙂
