¿Género en los cuentos? / Gender in stories?
Hola a todos los amigos de Hive, en esta ocasión quiero hablarles sobre los "géneros" de los cuentos, al igual que en los libros, hay distintos tipos y categorías de cuentos como los de amor, terror, suspenso, fábulas, mitos, leyendas, de magia, aventuras, entre otros y los cuentacuentos pueden tener sus favoritos. Les daré unos ejemplos:
Uno de mis cuenteros favoritos es Jorge Torres "El Diablo" un excelente cuentacuentos colombiano que narra historias que tienden a un realismo mágico, involucrando personajes y anécdotas familiares con hechos ficticios muy bien enlazados, te puedes perder en sus historias, dudar de lo que es real y de lo que no lo es, también retorcer de la risa, para que te lance una contundente moraleja al final de sus cuentos. Si tienen la oportunidad de oírlo, lo recomiendo, pueden encontrar algunos videos de él en youtube y en sus demás redes sociales.

Otro gran narrador oral es Harry Marín, también colombiano, algo que me llamó mucho la atención de la manera en que presentó su acto cuando vino a Venezuela es que le permitió al público elegir el género de la historia que iba a contar. ¿A qué me refiero?. Bueno, hasta donde recuerdo Marín le dijo al público asistente: Tengo 4 tipos de historias 1- Cuentos de cuando pasa el viento entre el Bambú, 2- Cándidos, 3- Sórdidos y las historias 4 -"Hum". ¿Cuál quieren que les cuente?.
Aquella vez que vino a Venezuela solo le escuché narrar una historia sórdida y una cándida, ambas me encantaron, la manera en la que involucra al público en las historias les permite sentir con más pasión los hechos narrados y demostrar el poder que tiene la palabra ante el espectador que atiende por completo la narración, permitiendo terminar las historias con risas o suspiros de alivio.
Hay un gran grupo de cuentacuentos que narra historias infantiles, en su mayoría son fábulas, en Venezuela tenemos a una excelente narradora oral y una de mis favoritas que aprovecha de acompañar sus historias con su hermosa voz al cantar; Flora Ovalles, tiene más de 30 años de experiencia y ha contado historias en casi cualquier lugar y a todos los públicos, sabiendo aprovechar los espacios y los elementos que pueda tener a mano para atraer la atención tanto de los niños como de los adultos, ya que los más pequeños se distraen muy rápido y una de las maneras de tenerlos atentos es involucrándolos en las historias, permitiéndoles participar con preguntas que ellos mismos deban y puedan responder mientras ocurre el acto.

Particularmente me encantan las historias de amor, son mis favoritas y las que más me gusta contar, aunque también he contado historias infantiles, tristes, de miedo y de realismo mágico, pero eso lo dejaré para potro post.
Voy a finalizar con una de las mejores cuenteras de Barquisimeto y Venezuela (sé que es mi opinión personal), quien también es mi directora de Narración Oral, María Eugenia Ramos de Ceballos, también conocida como "Mau". Ella ha contado historias infantiles y también para adultos, ha sabido capturar en momentos de risas elementos cotidianos, observar el comportamiento de las personas y entender que tienen un origen que puede ser compartido como "un cuento" socialmente. Ella sabe que las historias nutren el alma y permiten el crecimiento del ser.

Además de los elementos escénicos que acompañan a los cuentacuentos, y le dan el énfasis y la fuerza necesaria a los cuentos, como las luces, el sonido e incluso utilería como sillas, mesas, flores o pañuelos, ayudan al espectador a adentrarse en el escenario que es descrito por el narrador oral mientras habla.
Cada día de nuestras vidas es una historia fantástica que puede ser narrada y clasificada acorde al sentimiento predominante, ya sea: miedo, amor, suspenso, fábula, comedia, drama, realismo, fantasía, aventura, entre tantos otros que pueden ser propios o sacados de la literatura. Lo cierto es que los cuentos y las historias componen nuestra esencia de vida, nos forman a quienes somos y decidimos ser. Como dijo Eduardo Galeano: Estamos hecho de historias.

That time he came to Venezuela I only heard him narrate a sordid story and a candid one, both I loved, the way he involves the audience in the stories allows them to feel with more passion the facts narrated and demonstrate the power that the word has before the viewer who completely attends the narration, allowing to finish the stories with laughter or sighs of relief.
There is a large group of storytellers who tell children's stories, mostly fables, in Venezuela we have an excellent storyteller and one of my favorites who takes advantage of accompanying her stories with her beautiful singing voice; Flora Ovalles, has more than 30 years of experience and has told stories in almost any place and to all audiences, knowing how to take advantage of the spaces and the elements that she can have at hand to attract the attention of both children and adults, since the little ones get distracted very quickly and one of the ways to keep them attentive is involving them in the stories, allowing them to participate with questions that they themselves must and can answer while the act occurs.

I particularly delighted love stories, they are my favorites and the ones I like to tell the most, although I have also told children's stories, sad, scary and magical realism stories, but I'll leave that for another post.
I am going to finish with one of the best storytellers in Barquisimeto and Venezuela (I know this is my personal opinion), who is also my director of Oral Narration, María Eugenia Ramos de Ceballos, also known as "Mau". She has told stories for children and also for adults, she has been able to capture in moments of laughter everyday elements, observe the behavior of people and understand that they have an origin that can be shared as "a story" socially. She knows that stories nourish the soul and allow the growth of the being.

In addition to the scenic elements that accompany the storytellers, and give the necessary emphasis and strength to the stories, such as lights, sound and even props like chairs, tables, flowers or handkerchiefs, help the viewer to get into the scenario that is described by the storyteller as he or she speaks.
Every day of our lives is a fantastic story that can be narrated and classified according to the predominant feeling, whether it is: fear, love, suspense, fable, comedy, drama, realism, fantasy, adventure, among many others that can be from our own or taken from literature. The truth is that tales and stories make up our essence of life, they shape who we are and who we decide to be. As Eduardo Galeano said: We are made of stories.
