«I too have felt the inclination to force myself, almost in a demonic way, to be stronger than I really am».

ROSENROT

ROSENROT

A single petal may be able to cut the thread between death and salvation. Just a single filament of its edge would be enough to make the difference. In this unusual and sudden thought Rosa was submerged, who was at that moment targeted by an intruder who murdered her entire family. The pervert took her outside and forced her to take off her clothes. Naked and at the mercy of the night's cold, she moaned in distress while waiting for the final blow, but the sudden howl of the authority's dogs in the distance saved her life, since the murderer fled before being discovered.

Rosa was found subsumed in tears, terrified and naked. The sheriff attended to her while the rest of his team searched for the murderer. He took strong pity on her and gave her some words of encouragement: Keine Sorge, kleines Mädchen, wir werden diesen Bastard finden. At that time, Rosa still did not understand the language of the North Tristans very well, so she just stared at the Sheriff guessing that those words would be something like they would catch the murderer, but that night she got lost, and it was not known who it was since she was wearing a mask.

The poor girl was the only surviving member of her family. They were immigrants from the South, coming from islands buffeted by wild currents. The North seemed like a good place to start over, but, hatred for immigrants was growing and many Tristanos had radical thoughts that they should be exterminated. Fortunately, the sheriff was a kind man, he accompanied Rosa to the police station until he decided what to do with her. As she was only fifteen years old, she was taken to an orphanage, where she quickly learned the language of the Tristanos of the North.

Every night since her stay there, Rosa never forgot that night: how her two little twin brothers were cruelly slaughtered, and their parents, who begged for mercy before their heads were pierced. With time, sadness turned into hatred, and hatred was very thirsty; one that could only be satisfied with one thing: Rache; which translates as: "Revenge". Rosa asked all the stars every night to fulfill her desire to quench her thirst, and although she lost hope, she never forgot, and that elevated her to achieve her longing.

A year after her stay in the orphanage, Rosa was adopted by a bounty hunter who had settled deep in the mountains. The man needed a strong girl to help him with the domestic chores, and she was perfect to fulfill his demands. He lived far away, deep in the thick forests, perfect places for the wolves to create their dens, but this man was never stalked by these creatures, because his lack of emotions and fearsome appearance frightened even the cruelest predator.

Rosa was scared, she didn't want to live with this man, but there was nothing she could do. If she ran away, where would she go? She was only an immigrant without family in the middle of a region where they hate those of her lineage. She acted smartly and did everything the man who adopted her asked of her. When she arrived home, she noticed a message written on the top of the cabin's doorway that marked her forever: Der Tod ist für diejenigen, die ihn verdienen. Phrase that translates as: "Death is for those who deserve it. Life is for those who fight for it". Those words caused him to be shocked. Those words changed her life from then on. Those words helped her hold on tighter to her thirst. And while she remembered that fateful day, the man interrupted her and asked her to fetch water from the stream.

In just a few months, Rosa had adapted very well. The man hunted creatures of the forest; like rodents, which Rosa learned to prepare. Every time he used his weapon, she observed him and learned everything she could. The guy had a variety of guns, blades and traps, which he used; not only to catch his hunting prey, but also bandits and outlaws who had a price on their heads by the local authorities. Rosa, although scared, on one of those days when she was alone, took one of the firearms and began to practice. She exercised everything she learned observing that first time. She felt a tingling and excitement in her belly with every shot she fired. The thrill of having that power in her hands blinded her, without realizing that she was being watched by her tutor.

Realizing this, she became frightened, lowered her head and dropped the gun to the ground. She thought she would be severely punished, but the man watched her with interest, recognizing her talent. The hunter picked up the shotgun from the ground and placed it back in Rosa's hands. She was terrified and at the same time did not understand what was happening. The man was giving her advice on how to hold it better: breathing, respect for timing; a whole series of sequences and guidelines on how to use a firearm like a professional. Rosa still didn't understand the hunter's behavior, but she didn't care, she took advantage of all his advice and kept going.

Four years passed and the icy land of North Tristania was still plagued by crime and injustice. The authorities were increasingly subjected to fear. Insults against immigrants continued while murders were used as a warning to them. There seemed to be no escape from this tempest that threatened them, but a new bounty hunter began to tread with force in the interiors of the place.

Rosa was different now; a passionate and motivated expert hunter. She took the life of her first job using only two shots. In the eyes of that man who begged for his life, she saw the eyes of the murderer of her family. She still retained that thirst, that Rache that turned her into the stunning, bloodthirsty woman she is now. There was no longer fear in her eyes, and with the second shot she took the life of her first victim. Each lifeless body she left was accompanied by a red rose; with petals that cut that thread, with only one edge of its sides.

Amigo ... Me encantó. Mis cariños @universoperdido
