Sunrise on the beach

Woke up early on a clear day, and was treated to a beach alone to watch the sunrise. The snow piled up to the water line with a bit of sand exposed. The orange and pink sky reflecting on the water as the day came to life. Peaceful and calm with only the faint breeze stirring the water. That crisp bite of chilly air enveloping oneself and reminding me of how alive we really are. Giving thanks to another day to come.
