MAKING A BEAUTIFUL PIÑATA FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER

Hello everyone in this wonderful community where creativity flourishes, where everyone can showcase their talent for making things. On this occasion, I’d like to share with you one of the many things I made for my grandchildren’s birthday, including my granddaughter’s piñata featuring the number 3 and decorated with figures inspired by K-pop warrior girls in fuchsia and purple.

Hola a todos en esta hermosa comunidad donde la creatividad se hace presente, donde cada uno puede demostrar el talento que se tiene para realizar las cosas. En esta oportunidad yo les comparto a ustedes una de las tantas cosas que hice para el cumpleaños de mis nietos, entre ellas la piñata de mi nieta con el número 3 y decorada con figuras alusivas a las guerreras del k-pop en los colores fucsia y morado.

Right then, to make this piñata I used the following materials:
2 sheets of piñata cardboard
5 sheets of fuchsia-coloured crepe paper
5 sheets of purple crepe paper
1 stapler
1 craft knife
1 sheet of gold glitter foam
1 sheet of black glitter foam
1 tube of glue, a pencil, and let’s get started.
I began by tracing the template of the number 3 onto the cardboard, which wasn’t easy at all, but I managed it. Once the template was ready, I started cutting out the pieces of cardboard I would need, then began joining them together to shape the number 3.

Pues bien, para realizar esta piñata utilicé los siguientes materiales:
2 cartón para piñata
5 pliegos de papel crepé en color fucsia
5 pliegos de papel crepé morado
1 grapadora
1 tigera
1 lámina de foami escarchado dorado
1 lámina de foami escarchado negro
1 goma de pegar, lápiz y manos a la obra.
Empecé sacando el molde del número 3 en el carton, que no me fue nada fácil pero lo logré una vez hecho el molde empece a recortar el cartón con las piezas que iba a necesitar para luego empezarlas a unir y darle forma a el numero 3.

I then proceeded to cover the sides of the piñata in a criss-cross pattern with the purple crepe paper, and continued covering the whole piñata with the colours I’d already chosen until it was completely covered. I then used the foam sheets to make the ‘K-pop’ warrior doll —the ‘Rumy’ doll, which was my granddaughter’s favourite—to stick on the front of the piñata, as well as making some shapes such as stars and musical notes to decorate it. Once the doll and the shapes were ready, I stuck them on, completing this beautiful piñata, which my granddaughters enjoyed immensely on their birthday. Luego procedi a forar los lados de la piñata en forma corrigada con el papel crepe morado y luego continúe forrando toda la piñata con los colores ya obtenido hasta lograr así terminarla de forrar para luego con los foamis hice la muñeca de las guerreras del k-pop en foami la rumy que era la que a mi nieta le gustaba para pegarla a un lado de la piñata por la parte del frente así como también hacer algunas figuras como estrellas y notas musicales para decorar la piñata una vez ya realizada la muñeca y las figuras se pegaron dando por terminada esta hermosa piñata donde mis nietas la disfrutó en su cumpleaños con mucha felicidad Espero que les haya gustado esta reseña y esta hermosa piñata gracias a todos por leer mi post.
