Seasons Hunt Challenge: Hunting For Mushrooms
Hello amazing season hunters. It's my first time joining the contest and I'm super excited I found this. I discovered this while perusing the Hive blog chain and I'm thankful to @barbara-orenya for organizing such an amazing contest.
I'm really not a fan of the Mushroom world but I know a lot of people in my environs who eat a lot, some use it to prepare soup and of course my Mum say's it's very nutritious and the health benefits is massive.
I went hunting for mushrooms and for the first time they all went into hiding (lol), so I wondered if everyone in my neighborhood had decided to have it for dinner 🤣🤣🤣. I got very nervous about the whole hunting issue but I never gave up and finally I found this pretty goodness waiting patiently for me on a log.
Quickly I'll share some health benefits of Mushroom that I Know.
- It helps to reduce heart diseases.
- They are rich in calories
- Great source of fiber, protein and antioxidants.
It is worthy of mention that most people sun dry their mushroom and then grind it into powder.
- Overtime it's been proven that mushroom powder is very helpful as it aid digestion.
- Good for immunity.
- It is very helpful for busy people as it helps them to add Useful micronutrients to their meals without too much of effort.
I hope to try out this soup one day and of course I'll share it with y'all.
I encourage my friends @milkymillions, @evegrace and @gkotokens to join the moving train. You can find the link Here

a funny thing, to illustrate your article you have found a nice (but inedible, and quite useless) Maze fungi - aka Daedalia quercina mushroom. anyway I like your entry a lot. cheers!
😃
Thanks for reaching out, never knew there are mushrooms that are inedible and are often referred to as fungi.
Thanks for letting me know this..😊
my pleasure! by the way, as far as I know the difference is not in the edibility aspect.
i.e. every mushroom is fungi, but there are some fungi that did not look like a 'typical' mushroom from kidz textbook - with a stem, cap, etc ... something like that! cheers.
I've always said that the Hive Blockchain is a great way to learn
yesss!!! there was even a special challenge here, about sharing your 'learning curve' with certain facts you've learned weekly... I took part myself several times! 😋
