Love and sexuality Podcast #5- What do you consider a red flag?

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Today, @chrinnox and I talked about red flags in relationships and how it could be detrimental to the health of the relationship in the long run. Chrinnox highlighted some red flags while making us understand that red flags are everywhere and very visible, hence it will be proper to address those red flags from the beginning of a relationship before it graduates further.

Several people in relationships have observed red flags in their partners yet they choose to push it aside in the name of love. Unfortunately, the problem that results from pushing away critical issues such as these aside is what often results in broken relationships.

The best thing to do when red flags are observed in our partners is to take a break from the relationship while evaluating what you want in a relationship with what you're getting at the moment. It becomes easier to make decisions based on logic thereafter.

Chrinnox appeared in the first episode of the Love and sexuality podcast #1, and I'm glad to have her here again. I also encouraged her to make her first video on 3speak which she published yesterday - Join me clean

The earlier people started to recognise these redflags, the better it is for their mental health as well.

Yes, the earlier the better. Al lot of people notice some red flags but ignore it while believing they can cope with it. Unfortunately, bad things happen afterwards.

Thanks for your time and insight given on such crucial topic. I sincerely appreciate it.

There are characters and behaviors that every individual consider stale in their opinion. People should realize that at any point in their relationship if any of this characters they consider as a red flag is displayed, they shouldn't overlook it. It's better to prevent a broken heart than having bro deal with a broken one.

Funny thing is that people notice red flags before the start of a relationship yet they choose to ignore it but choose to throw logic into the wind while thinking they can handle those red flags. It's unfortunate hat once problems begin they'd realise they were wrong.

Some red flags are not easy to observe. Some people hide their behaviours in relationships until a later time.

Regardless of how much they hide their behaviours, those red flags will come out at a later time. Best thing is to run away as soon as we notice them.

The only problem is.. Some red flags don't show up until after marriage.

This question goes to @chrinnox. What can he done in such situation?

Red flag are easily noticeable same way green flags are but we just choose to ignore all in the name of love in the end the result is a costly mistake

Yes, they're easily noticeable, and the best thing to do is to stay away once they begin to manifest.

Red flags could also be called danger sign.
once danger is sensed in a relationship,we shouldn't wait for us to seriously hurt before we run from it.

I remember in uni then, I can just say that’s my first relationship when I noticed the guy is not usually comfortable while walking with him on the streets, while walking together he’s always too fast,I was thinking can’t this guy reduce his walking space for me and I asked him he was like he didn’t notice that,I quickly grab that and some more.
So when you notice that your guy or your babe is showing you some red flags, you should know you are on your own, he’s tired of you already.
Don’t ignore it......

😄 🤣 😂 woah! First relationship? Wow.

Did you attempt to find out why he did so? Something must have gone wrong at that point.

I'm not really one to talk when it comes to relationships and stuff, considering I haven't been in one. However, I agree to taking a break when certain things doesn't sit well with you.

Taking a break will be the best thing to do. Yes, or the long run damage will be terrible.

I always make sure to look out for red flags before the start of a relationship. Once I notice them, I dodge the bullet in my own way.
