Living well, doing good and making life better.
Our Habit drives many things to us. According to —Jim Kwik, “All behaviour is belief-driven”. Thus, the things you do are based on your belief in who you are.
Your identity matter. How do you see yourself? If you want to change your life, start with your identity. All your limitation starts from your mind. If you want to live better, start by changing your identity.
When I was 10, I wanted to be a pharmacist. At 15, I was playing at Pepsi Football Academy and loved to play internationally. At 23, I was a graduate of Civil Engineering. Now, I am a web developer and a founder of a tech company. All these might mean different things to you, but the main point is...
You are responsible for your direction in life.
Through my journey, there were times where I could make good from everything I did. I had a golden chance of making it big as a footballer but was missed. Since opportunities don’t come once, I had to keep striving. Many people think that, if I just work hard, things should work for me. I saw a post where someone said, so we just come to this world to worry about money and die. I paused and asked, “what about purpose?” Many people don’t live on purpose, they just want to make money and be happy with it. Anyway, purpose is everything. If you know where you are going in life, and you define your plans, people will help you get there or they leave the path for you.
Use average speed, not maximum
If you need inspiration before you get up every day to work, then you are a complete amateur. Success does not come by just working hard cluelessly. When I hear the word work hard, what comes to be mind is to be consistent. Show up every day and work with direction.
According to -Chuck Close
Inspiration is for amateurs. The rest of us just show up and get to work.
Challenge yourself physically.
The strength of your mind is determined by the physical things you do. We live in a physical world, so the only way to show your strength is by living physically. No matter how strong you feel, there will be a day where you don’t feel like showing up. Sometimes, to know your strength, you need to work when you don’t feel like working. Your speed might be slow, but your strength remains stronger. If you are soft physically, then you might be weak mentally.
If you have obstacles or enemies, it simply means you are up to something. - Tykee
Live by your rules and walk on your path. You have no business with someone’s expectations about your life. Don’t live your life chasing what people want you to be or the expectation of people around you. If you fail, they still condemn you. Do things you believe in. Even if you fail, you will know you have tried something for yourself. We live in a world where people try to set the standard for us. Never miss your value in life. Life may not be easy but always live by value.
I'll stop here. Thank you for reading!
