A few Time At My "Combo" Farm Today.

_{I call it combo farm because I have many things on it :)}

I was born in a city and did not understand how plants grow. I lived my first 24 years in the city and how I did was consume. I started farming when I moved to the capital city of my country. I was lucky to live in a place where farming lands are available and lands are quite easy to acquire. I acquired some land and I used some for little farming. It is just farming for the family, not something I take to the market to sell, since food has been extremely expensive. There is currently serious inflation in my country and the farm has been helping the family because food worth over $3,000 in the market comes from the farms.

I was already dressed for office this morning and I was passing through the farm so I decided to take a few shots and share.

2 years ago my sister had small poultry and we used to pour the chicken droppings in a part of the farm. The part that was not used as farm then, so this year I used the place to farm sweet potatoes and the growth of the potatoes are massive. The leaves spread across the land it a place where a lot of snails stay. So the land has so many snails. I left some to grow eating the potatoes leaves while I took many to my house to rear.

I also have corn and beans on the land. The beans are still little on the ground. It is the beginning of the season here. In a few months, we will be harvesting beans.

I have already harvested a lot of maize, but I still have some growing because there are intervals in the time I grow them.

Potatoes is one of my favourite foods and I am waiting for the harvest. I use it in different ways, like flours, drinks, and lots of things.

The snails on the farm were really small earlier this year but they have been eating the potatoes leaves and it is helping their growth. I am just watching them. Snails are delicious. :))
