I was invited to take part in the "Overturned" exhibition this month on Makersplace.
I chose this piece because it is about feeling completely and truly free, completely yourself; something I find that is harder and harder as days go by.

I am sure it is difficult for everyone of every age and gender; but it is definitely a daily catch 22 being a woman. If you talk to a man you are flirting, if you don't you are a bitch. If you wear a padded bra you are being dishonest, if you don't your nipples stick out. If you live in the countryside people judge you, in the city they harass you.

I love to close my eyes to the world when I dance, nothing exists but the music and my body. Not that I want to be alone; I prefer the energy of having others around. Now that I am older I seem a bit silly, but I still love to dance.

I was invited to talk about my work at a twitter space for this exhibit tomorrow at 9 AM

This piece is a second edition of five, the first that was minted in July of 2018 and is among their first mints. It can be purchased on Makersplace

If you like what you see you can view more of my work on my on-line gallery.

Spatial is perhaps the most seamless way I have found to put together an art exhibition. They have beautiful, pre-made galleries that you can choose from, and it seems some import their own. It is easiest to put together on a desktop, but you can also view and edit it on phone, tablet or in VR. You can host a showing, complete with a band, and socialize with your avatar.
