Happy New Year!

On the way to Lunar New Year celebrations and was going through some of my artwork on Google photos. I found a few pieces I had forgotten about.
The first piece is a surreal aquatic world. That is perhaps my favorite of the three I am sharing today.
All three pieces were drawn onto round wood panels. The plan was to eventually fix them up with paint to be more vibrant for show; perhaps I will do that soon.

The second piece is a surreal, spidery world reflective of my arachnophobia. I like it, but it is a bit busy and confusing. If it isn't nailed to the wall I might work on it some more today. Maybe pretend the work is an outfit for a night out and remove items from it; "kill my darlings".
The third piece is a retro-alien space- craft. Perhaps this one needs a bit more detail in the corner. Perhaps that would be a bad idea? I am not good at leaving spaces in my work.

So I got back from Lunar New Year last night and am finishing this post with a bit of a hangover. It was fun getting to know my new in-laws, they are all such nice people; and great cooks! The food was delicious; lobster, oyster, lamb (which I usually do not eat but made an exception this time), and other wonderful dishes.
Anyway, perhaps one of these will be a submission soon. We will see. I remember my brother nailed at least one to the wall so it might not be possible, but we will see:)
Love surrealism artwork and eyes. Great job.
