LOH Contest #81 - Living in the modern "techy" world of today.

Gretting Lady of Hive Community and our Ladies.
First of all, thank you @ladieshofhive for hosting this LOH contest #81 this week.
I am awfully sorry I have missed a contest last week due to my heavy workload that I could not arrange my time to write. To join our challenge today, I would like to pick up the second topic: Do you ever wish for simpler times, or do you prefer the modern 'techy' world of today? Which would you choose to live by, and why?

In the developing society, the human's needs of growing bring about the demands of technology and scientific development. Human being tend to be dependent on it and lost their nature self-reliance and creative power.
Everything is two sides of the same coin, so there is no standard for me to judge the life in the past and now.

For the life in the past, when the technology was still undeveloped, our life might get more trouble in any kind of fields. For instand, to produce more products to supply the market, without technology, the human labour is absolutely important in the factories. From that, we would use more time to complete the daily works, as well as their power and energy.

However, thank to that, we can enhance and improve our skill by experiments. We also have more time after working to stay with our beloved family, then the spiritual life will reach to the new level.

On the contrary, living in the technology world nowadays always has its advantages and disavantages. To apply the technology development in life, we can dealt with a lot of troubles and issues easily. It makes our life more able to breathe. In addition to, the kids and the future generations will have more opportunities to get the best education, best caring and so on. However, If we imposes on it too much, we will gradually lose connection with other valuable stuffs.

For example: With a computer, we can complete the operation in a second. A computer also has a function of saving datas and files, transfer it on the other place or other people that we do not need to solve it by hand. Conversely, overusing computer for a long time without resting, our vission loss can be decrease over time, we do not have more time to contact with nature and people beside. We even can be addicted to computer as a great tool. From that, our time for family will be cut day after day.

For myself, to live in the modern life now, I need a life which is combinated between the past and the current. The modern life will support me to complete my work at site and daily life while the living in the past will enhance my spiritual life, my relationship and my inner-self.
Sometimes, I wish I could return to the old day when the living standard was very simple but happier. Sadly, I regconized that it was just the desire of my thought, it was not my real desire. I just followed the feeling of missing something and desired to get it in my hand.

To reach a balanced life, I cannot take one and get rid of one. The great combination of the simpler times and modern is very important indeed!
