Cualidad que debería ser un talento
Being rebel. There is a bunch of people who gets to rebel in the right way and that's a talent because the world teaches us how to be followers, there are leaders that are where they are because it was a path they should follow as born in a certain family, not because they really had a choice or they really wanted to do that, so they are leaders but nothing rebel in that.
Ser rebelde. Hay un montón de gente que consigue rebelarse de forma correcta y eso es un talento porque el mundo nos enseña a ser seguidores, hay líderes que están donde están porque era un camino que debían seguir por haber nacido en una determinada familia, no porque realmente tuvieran elección o quisieran hacer eso, así que son líderes pero nada rebeldes en eso.
Rebel kids drive their parents nuts, they are treated like criminals or simply ignored, we want rebel kids behave because we can't handle them and maybe we are a little jelous of them, their freedom because they don't even care that we want them to behave.
Los niños rebeldes vuelven locos a sus padres, se les trata como criminales o simplemente se les ignora, queremos que los niños rebeldes se comporten porque no podemos manejarlos y tal vez estamos un poco celosos de ellos, de su libertad porque ni siquiera les importa que queramos que se comporten.
Not all rebel kids go far in their lives, obviously, because some of them are rebels just to avoid responsabilities or have a bad behavior, not because they want something more than they are afraid of repercutions. But being the well behaved kid, who follow the rules and does everything adults ask for also doesn´t lead to a bright future, in fact, it leads to anxiety, confusion, not knowing how to deal with failure, the "good kids" are not prepared to the real world.
No todos los niños rebeldes llegan lejos en sus vidas, obviamente, porque algunos de ellos son rebeldes sólo para evitar responsabilidades o tener un mal comportamiento, no porque quieran algo más de lo que temen las repercusiones. Pero ser el niño bien portado, que sigue las reglas y hace todo lo que los adultos le piden tampoco lleva a un futuro brillante, de hecho, lleva a la ansiedad, a la confusión, a no saber lidiar con el fracaso, los "niños buenos" no están preparados para el mundo real.
That's a talent I wish I had, but I don't, also I don't follow the rules anymore, I just do things with no more implications, I do them my way unless it would get me in trouble, that's not a good path, I'm really need to learn how to be rebel, how to take risks, otherwise, I'll stay as stuck as I am now and sure I don't want to.
Ese es un talento que me gustaría tener, pero no lo tengo, además ya no sigo las reglas, simplemente hago las cosas sin más implicaciones, las hago a mi manera a menos que me meta en problemas, ese no es un buen camino, realmente necesito aprender a ser rebelde, a tomar riesgos, de lo contrario, me quedaré tan estancada como estoy ahora y seguro que no quiero.
