Here's something funny I just noticed!

Ahhhhh! The owl of Athena! A little owl (Athene noctua) that supposedly accompanied the Greek goddess of wisdom and hence a symbol of knowledge and wisdom.

A common sight in most of Europe, here's how they look irl:

The owl in the silver coin looks a little weird when you compare it to the actual thing and I like the one with the silver edge more.

The silver coin does look good, but I personally think the Euro owl has a better design and fits the coin really well.

The reason owl is the symbol of Athena, its because symbolizes wisdom as a nocturnal bird, has excellent eyesight in the dark. Allegory between knowledge and ignorance, light and darkness!
Ps: Nor do I know where it is Niue :)
