A weekend in FYROM, #Struga City
Just returned from my weekend trip in FYROM and I must say I loved the whole experience..
I just wish we had more time to spend but all good things come to an end sooner or later... Today was a really active day. After checking out from the hotel we visited the Monastery of Saint Naum which was truly magical and then took our way back to Greece through Albania, making two quick stops in Pogradec and Goritsa..
I will make a photo post about all these three destinations in future posts.. For now, enjoy some photos I took yesterday night from Struga City.
Like with Ochrid, I really enjoyed this small city. It has a nice river cutting it in half near the city center, nice small beautiful shops, and all in all it gives a nice summer vibe :) I just wish we had visited it in a hot summer morning. I would have loved to have a cold frappe next to the river :)
Aren't they just North Macedonia now? I mean FYROM is a rad name but they changed it a couple of months ago.
I believe that for Greeks will never be a North Macedonia, independent of others will decide

These are really wonderful photos. I had the sense of being there. You captured a sense of the place, though the 'summer vibe' doesn't come through for me. Looking forward to the rest of your pictures.
