Still alive, just been busy that's all. Had some cool ideas for the last few contests (like drawing PIXEL in Excel) but missed the deadlines unfortunately. Glad to see your list is growing and hope to get one in on time soon.

Happy to hear you still follow the editions and the new words, if you ever finish some of those old words you could use them to drop a post in some Art community to show your work, surely is going to be appreciated.
Would you prefer a Contest Entry window of 10 days rather than 7? I'm planning to start to get some feedbacks from participants to see if the 7 days time is too short.

Whether you set it to 7 or 10, there will always be a few people with time constraints. In my opinion 7 works out fine as it fits into a weekly routine, which makes it easier for busy people to remember. It also matches the Hive curation period.
Yeah exactly that, this is why I do 7 and 7, mainly for the payout period.
I need to fix it in a way that I can start them every Sunday evening late, so people will have a full week to work on it.

I'm proud of myself, I checked if the spelling was right and it was, WOW, still remember a bit of how to write in Polish, numbers lololol)
You know I fail at languages, right? I'm lucky I can do english well enough to make some sort of sense. Can't live in Canada without having some familiarity with French, especially if half your work in a job is in French. 😂
I've been learning some Spanish which has interfered with my ability to think in French so easily now.
Oh I did not know that 🤣 is french widely spoken in Canada? Could a french that doesn't speak English at all live there? Just pure curiosity of my mind lol
I see, well if you can think in french then means that your french is pretty good! I started thinking in english after like 3 years I was actively learning it and speaking it here in UK but I did in 3 years what most people do in a decade 🤣 I really wanted to learn this bloody language and stop feeling stupid when I was talking with people 🤣

It depends on what part of Canada you're in as to how widely spoken French is. To make it more interesting, there are two kinds of French spoken in Canada, Quebec French and Acadian French. If you live in Quebec, it's expected you speak French being the dominate language there, so yes.
I was indoctrinated in the school system at a young age. It was painful for someone like me who has to work very hard to be at best average at another language. Learning to think in French came later with that job I mentioned where I was partially immersed in French. Probably the only way I'll learn a language properly, immersion. Speak it or die. LOL.
Your English is far better than my French will ever be. You put a lot of effort in and that always pays off. As I've said to you before, you do really well with English.

This was the case for me ahah found myself in UK with the necessity to learn english just to thrive and get by and be able to find that job and start living that life, until then I was living in Italy like a parasite in my parents house depending on them for everything, it's really hard in Italy but that's too long of a story, I could not live like that anymore and I had to get independent and start living my life so that's the reason I emigrated on my own.

A habit of learning is most beneficial to growth.
This is an incredible accomplishment, would have taken a lot of motivation, courage (feeling fear and doing it anyway), and persistence. A new language complicates it. I really respect you for taking charge of your life, being responsible for yourself.
Kindness, authentic kindness is so very needed now. I have a tendency to say what I think, as someone I know calls it "radical honesty", so sometimes what I say can be difficult for some to hear. I'm a full package deal.

Now that I'm here quick question, I read the HIVE PUM rules and it mentions UTC time, I'm trying to do the Power Up Month this month and yesterday I almost forgot to power up 1 Hive and ended up doing it very late like at 23:40 at my UK time which currently is in UTC, can you give me some peace of mind and confirm that I am still eligible for the PUM?
