Onion Flower Buds... [Deranged Photography Contest - Macro]
Good night, everyone!
Here are a couple of shots from a flower bud of an onion plant growing on my balcony. This is my first attempt at farming / gardening... and I think the plants are looking pretty healthy. 😉

Neither have I. I had no clue of how it would look like when I planted it. It's been fun but they need water everyday, which means we can't even go on holidays. 🤭

I don't know what kind of the onion plant that is. I can't recognize it. Therefore, I can't tell you if it should be cropped or not. But I would really like to know if it's a plant that you can actually eat, and if it is, how does it look the eatable part!? Is it a plant with eatable root or it has some different kind of fruit (or leaves)?
Yes, it's a root, like the potato. The top part is not edible... or at least, it doesn't taste very good. 😊

No, it's a flower without a smell... Now that I think of it, it's probably better that it doesn't smell like onions! 🤭
