The Pain We Don't Talk About Enough.
Not to sound biased or anything, but I think women should have treated in a more better manner than how they are.
Okay wait before you jump into conclusion..... this is actually where I am coming from, So I was scrolling through my WhatsApp yesterday night and I came across a WhatsApp status of a fellow hiver, and I was shocked, See, the process of giving birth is one thing that we people are not really focusing on or rather giving respect to, In as much as I would have loved to share the video here, mehnnnnnn..... even me as a woman had to close it because I couldn’t finish watching it.
The video contained how a woman was being delivered of her baby, See, the birth process alone was scary, the way the doctor dragged the woman’s body open just so they could bring out the baby, omo I cried and ran to my mom to show her if this was what women do go through, I was literally shaking because I couldn’t believe that this is something women go through and then after everything, life is expected to just move on like nothing happened.

Omo... I believe there should be special treatment for women o, like this pain women go through is something that tampers with her body, not only her body but also her mind, you know how people talk about pregnancy like it is just cravings and then cute baby bumps, but they forget the delivery part, they forget the fear, the pain, the strength it takes, and sometimes the trauma that comes after.
What made me even more emotional was thinking about how many women go through this without proper care, some go through it in hospitals without enough equipment, some with doctors or nurses who are tired, angry, or just insensitive, some women don’t even have anyone to hold their hand or tell them “you wl be fine.” Yet after all this, society expects women to bounce back immediately, Cook, clean, smile, take care of the baby, and still look “fine.”
Seriously Women deserve a lot, Women should be treated like eggs with proper care, from pregnancy to childbirth and even after, not just with words, but with actions, better healthcare, emotional support, understanding partners, and even simple respect, because this thing is not beans, It is not small.
Seeing that video just reminded me that women are really strong, but strength should not always be abused, just because women can endure pain does not mean they should be ignored or treated anyhow, there should be more awareness about what women actually go through, so people can learn to be more compassionate.
This isn’t a feminist kind of talking, it is just how I feel after seeing that video, I am not trying to say men are bad or anything like that, I’m just saying women deserve more care, more patience, and more kindness, because if bringing life into this world comes with this much pain, then the least society can do is show women more love and respect.
