Purchasing a Tesla is extremely simple

An order can be placed online in about two minutes, and the entire delivery process is handled through the Tesla app

The last car purchased was a Tesla Model Y. The purchase was painless — no salespeople, no showroom, no upsells, no games, no haggling, no pressure. It was a personal choice made on one's own time, completed in a few minutes via a clear, straightforward app

The next vehicle being purchased is from another brand, and it feels like going back in time: salespeople, back-and-forth charades, pricing games, requests to come in before a deal is finalized, etc. Communications are still done by email to avoid showroom antics. The buyer has modernized their side as much as possible, yet it's the same old process

The two experiences hardly feel like the same thing. One purchase carries all the usual baggage; the Tesla purchase carries none. Rather than lamenting the other brand, the contrast highlights appreciation for how thoroughly Tesla has reconfigured the car-buying experience — it has become effortless, like buying any other product. Bravo
