Visiting Gumnut Patisserie @ Bowral, Australia

Hi Everyone,

If you are going to Bowral, stopping by the famous Gumnut Patisserie is a must. Located on the main strip at Bowral, you will normally see a line outside of this popular patisserie with visitors and locals trying to grab some cakes and pastries. With lots of awards won over the years, their products are well worth the wait in line. We arrived just before noon on Saturday and luckily there was no line but the small store inside was packed with people.

People would take their buys home or can enjoy the food outside as they have a small area for their customers. We bought a sausage roll and meat pie but unfortunately, they only had a frozen version gluten-free as all the gluten free hot food has been sold already. We didn’t want to buy something needing to heat up so we went for the normal ones. BB E ate everything except for the pastry and that was fine for him.

I would say it wasn’t a cheap pie or sausage roll but the price we paid was well worth the product we got. The sausage roll was full of goodness, just like the meat pie needed to be eaten while hot. We ended up going back the following day to get more hot food and had a small picnic at a local park as it was pretty crowded on Sunday. Lovely stop for some high quality pastry food.
