Finally Got My Hands On My First Chaos Legion Splinterlands NFT

A few weeks ago, I wrote a post about Splinterlands NFT but all my SPT have been staked so I missed out on the first ones that were introduced in the first round. So a few weeks after, I noticed there is a new one called "Tome of Chaos" and only 500 will be minted. As this one for the Chaos Legion edition, I would have to get my hands on it. With only 500 available, it was a no brainer to try and buy one. Of course, this time I had enough SPT liquid so I was ready to buy it. The only thing I need to think about is what number I would like to buy as by the time I got around to it, there were many already sold and not many left at the lower priced.

I decided to go for number 48 and added that to the cart. As you can see from the picture below, some sellers are already re-selling the nft for 5x the price I'm buying so maybe there is still growth available for what I am buy. At the time of writing, 5000 SPT is approximately is around $40USD which is an acceptable price if the NFT is limited and since I am playing the game, I hope one day these NFT will worth something in game or even for airdrops.

Once in the cart, it is payment time. Payment was easy as long as you have SPT token in your account in hive-engine and make sure that the edition number is the one you have chosen. Click buy and keychain will pop up, pay for it and the NFT is now mine! There are other NFTs available but the older ones are too expensive and the other ones out doesn't interest me so I'll keep a look out for future ones. Of course need to save up on SPT so when the next one comes, I am ready to buy if I like it. Have a look at the NFTs available for Splinterlands here.
