Yey! I won 😅

It was a pleasure participating on the contest; in these strange times we're living, with quarantines and all of that, it's nice to remember good things like travelling to nice places! Thanks for the opportunity of sharing a bit of my trip!

@travelcontest

Once again... congratulations on your success so far!! And also... Congratulations to:

As promised, I have sent you 100 LUV Tokens, compliments of @crrdlx to help elevate the rewards and awesome of your contest! Use it as you see fit, though my thoughts were to award a total of 10 people, 10 LUV each, as it takes 10 LUV to make 1 call-out a day with the !LUV command. In doing this, we are also helping to share the awesome energy that @crrdlx is trying to spread on the blockchain (much like my #thoughtfuldailypost community)... winner, winner!! In addition to the LUV Tokens, I have also sent 10 HIVE to be used in whatever way you wish! Convert to HBI... send as HIVE... whatever you decide, as it is your contest after all!!

How about a little drunken karaoke in a far away land for a little Life Is Good?!?!

Inspired by this contest and group of people, I tell the tale of tequila, karaoke, gringos and more tequila!

IMG_2908.jpg
There is nothing like touring multiple karaoke bars in an exotic city like Playa Del Caren and dropping some old school heavy metal on the unsuspecting locals.

IMG_2909.jpg
The trip was epic enough on too many levels. Why not throw an exclamation mark on that SOB!?!?

IMG_2901.jpg

Did we end up sleeping on the sidewalk? Guess you will have to tune in to find out.

Who's about ready for a little travel adventure?

yes, i do the same.
once you were able to use 3 LUVs every day when your stalked amount was only 10, then the numbers changed to 25 and now 90 :-(
i know when i got to 90 they will up the number to 200 🤣🤣🤣
but still, i have this ability to send people one per day and I'm doing this every day with no exclusion :-)
thanks to @LUVshares

Anti-inflation, I get it :D
Huge thanks to @wesphilbin who sent 100 LUVs to support the contest, otherwise it would've taken me ages to collect those 90 :) Hopefully they don't increase the levels soon :D

by the way - one of the great ideas to use LUVs is to comment the more than 7 days post if you missed some. 💗is just working without attention to the age of the post and you bring to person $0.1 with one 💗

Life is Great! And that is a very broad meaning...

I had so many thoughts about that topic, but one of the first ideas that came to mind was 'FOOD'. We have many different types of travel: vacation travel, study travel, business travel,... food travel!

When I travel I always try to taste local traditional food, because it is the only place where you can do it, where you can find really traditional food. Traditional food means a lot. I believe that traditional food can help to understand the local culture better, and to feel its atmosphere.

Every time I was trying local food, I was always amazed by the difference in food and how food is connected to our culture and life.

Today almost everywhere we can find cuisine from different countries, and it is amazing! Of course, it has a little bit different taste than at in its' original country, but it is still a great opportunity to learn about other countries without the need to go abroad.

So, Life is great, Food is great!

P.S.: that picture I took at one of the England brunch cafes in South Korea. I don't remember such brunches in England, so probably it is just adapted to Korea. :)

This contest seem so much fun already, congrats to the winners of last edition. I wish I didn't miss it, hope to get mentioned as time goes on.

For today's edition - LIFE IS GREAT

IMG_20210809_140015_1.jpg

Don't know what inspired me to share this as my photo but while going through my phone gallery of pictures I've took, this one got me thinking back to when I went out to the market place with my mum.

IMG_20210809_140018_7.jpg

It rained that day but we were so happy because we expected the rain to come for sometime and we suspected to rain so we took an umbrella along and it really rained, it was a really good feeling.

Then I thought, what would a rainy journey be like for me? Cold, wet and fun because I love the rain but that's if I'm not with a load that gets wet and becomes bad.

The rain is a blessing and I keep seeing it that way, Life's great with abundance of rain on the earth 😃

Thanks for this opportunity!!!

So much joy! Indeed a picture full of life and no gadgets necessary to a full life! :) Did you give them candies? :D :P

By the way, have you checked the contest rules? No separate post is necessary and as an entry, I consider only whatever content you put as a comment here. ;) I hope that brings clarity.

so i can post more images in one post and the only one will be the contribution like i do for other contests?
possible i got wrong the rules. I'm trying to be straight with them, some contests hosts take these rules very seriously :-)

As there are lots of non-written rules about the posts on Hive, I decided the contest to be only comment-based. This gives much more freedom.

Yes, put in the comment as many photos and text as you feel are needed for the entry ;)

I take the rules seriously too, as all participants should be treated fairly and equally, right? :)

Of course, if you want, create a separate post but sometimes I may not have enough time to check it properly. Also, if you post old stuff (photos, text, etc.) in a new post this may bring you troubles, you know ;) (recycling content isn't appreciated on Hive too). I don't think this is an issue at all when using it as a comment ;) I hope you understand me better now ;)

yes, thank you very much now i got the rules.
i muted in the black and white community because I used my 3-4 years old images for the new posts again. i can't get this, it's like to say to musicians - don't sing the same song again:-))))))
but the boss is the boss as his/her/they decisions

I was wondering why, that explain it.
Another good example why I want to use comments as a base to my contest :)

"You don't need to set an alarm, I'll be awake till morning to wake you up"

Those were the reassuring words of my kid sister.

"Please Make sure you wake me up by 4am, i need to leave here latest 5am"

I said as I slept off comfortably with hope that I had a standby alarm to wake me up.

        5:30am

I jumped up from bed, looked at the wall clock and I screamed. On my left was my sister, my so called stand by alarm snoring away her life. I was totally late for my journey. I rushed to the shower then washed my mouth, prepared and rushed out of the house. It Was Going To Be A 5hour journey and I planned to come back that same day. I needed to be in the other state as early as possible because I had to go to the bank over there. Since Covid, if you are not in the bank as early as 7am, you might wait in a queue the whole day, and sometimes you might not get attended to.

         6:30am

I finally arrived the park and the bus was about leaving. Meanwhile a pretty young lady was sitting next to me. Normally I would have made approaches towards her and try to start a conversation, but at that moment I was really angry because I'm very late already.

         7:30am

One hour into our journey, we were yet to leave the state I'm traveling from, we were at a four corner junction when our car forcefully collided with keke Napep [Tricycle], the driver lost control of the car and finally ended up in a gutter, while the keke Napep summersaulted and ended upside down. It was A terrible experience. We were all fine in our car except for minor bruises and bleeding. But I can't say the same for the passengers in the Tricycle. There was A pregnant woman there, who was bleeding profusely from her legs which looked like they were going to divide in two. Writing about this now gives me goose pimples because the sight was horrible. We helped the passengers of the tricycle to get out of the vehicle and some volunteers rushed the pregnant woman to the hospital. All I kept praying for was her unborn baby to be save.

         10:30pm

That was the time I got back home from my journey. It was one hell of a day. The bank didn't make it easier for me either. I told my family members about my encounter and they rejoiced and praise God for my safety. I decided to take a picture to mark the day I had an accident. I already clicked the picture when my sister called from behind and said

Wow what a story to tell us that Life is indeed great.

I think you have the best alarm clock though, she was snoring 🙃 and you heard her and woke up early enough to still come back that same day.

That accident scene seem like I was there, so imaginable and very pitiful for the pregnant woman. She would need assistance for some time because of her broken leg 😒

Please that picture is not clear, I want to see your face well 😏 traveler

Hope you brought bread sha, don't give excuse that it was too late to get bread 😑🤨

🤣 When did this get this long? 🙄 🤪🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

LIFE IS GREAT #3

On the Mediterranean coast of Spain and in the Balearic Islands, the night of San Joan (St. John's eve) is celebrated as the beginning of the summer solstice. It is traditional for people to jump over nine small bonfires to make a wish and burn bad omens.
