Hi, lovers of travel and photography!

You are kindly invited to take part in edition #6 of TRAVEL CONTEST and the theme today is "Autumn" :)

Feel free to interpret the theme in every way you like, I hope to inspire more people to join this edition of the contest!

So I was getting some grief in the Terminal server, because I was withdrawing from this contest. @wesphilbin chastised me for dropping out, saying You have awesome Autumn photos for the Travel Contest...
To which I replied "But I didn't TRAVEL to get those images" (these are just a couple of them, recently taken here at my house in Mableton Ga
So to appease the terminal godlings, I decided to share these most recent images.
These were used in a post a couple of days ago, but were taken by me, in back of my studio building

Hey, Jerry! I gotta admit, I love taking part in photo contests but I hate the tagging/mention part :D In few more editions I will probably review that list and remove those who haven't found time or desire to participate yet.
@wesphilbin is such a great guy, isn't he? :D
Moreover, since this pandemic situation started, I haven't traveled much, I miss it... painfully. That was one of the reasons I brought the contest back to life. So we all travel more, virtually. That cannot be taken away from us :)

Hi @lightcaptured, here's the deal. I thought TRAVELLING was a requirement, as it is a Travel Contest
There are plenty of places I've travelled to nearby, or that I CAN travel to, I just haven't done so since beginning this contest.
I've got tons of photos from around here saved in folders on my pc, but as stated, I thought I had to TRAVEL to somewhere and get photos.
Sorry for my misunderstanding.
I DO understand and completely agree that brother @wesphilbin is an exemplary friend and human in general

Past or recent travels, they're all good. It doesn't need to be a long or far-away travel either. ;) Sometimes driving to the local store is quite a journey too, isn't it, hehe.

Hello travelers & photographers, this will be my 1st entry to this contest but I like the idea. I hope this activity will revive Travelfeed community!
I haven't been on the road for almost 2 years, since this forced corona time began. Recently, I went on a short trip to Austria to visit a certain lady & her daughter who are both very dear to me.
One nice autumn afternoon, we went to
Hotel Magdalensberg which is located on the top of numerous hills & mountains & from its place there are beautiful sites on each side you turn to... I forgot to take a camera on this short trip so I used my smart phone camera.

TRAVEL CONTEST edition #6 - Autumn

Hello everyone and thanks to @travelcontest for hosting these cool competitions!

When I think about Autumn, I often think about mushroom and "magic" ones in particular, because they helped me a lot in my personal growth and evolution especially thanks to some solitary sessions I had. If you like you can also read something about one of my most profound experience with mushrooms on this post I wrote for the Abundance Tribe:

Back in Italy I used to go pick some of these mushrooms in Autumn.

These pictures are from two different kinds of Psilocybin Mushrooms and locations.

These are called Psilocybe Azurescens, also known as "Flying Saucers" for their cap's shape, and belong to the "Woodlovers" family, which grows in woods from dead wood and leaves.

And these are called Psilocybe Semilanceata, also known as "Liberty Caps", the most widespread of the psiolcybin containing mushrooms around the World, which grows on grass fields,especially where there is cow dang, but not directly on it like other kind of mushrooms. In Italy you have to hike very high on some mountains to find them.

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons, so I couldn't pass by that contest without sharing with you the beauty of that season! I have hundreds of photos on my phone, so it was difficult to choose just a couple of them...

Many people don't like autumn because it is usually raining almost a whole month, and I can't disagree with it. Also, during autumn we feel tired and we are lazy to do anything. And most of us want just to stay in the bed, cover with a blanket.

But on another side, autumn is one of the most colorful seasons of the year! The rainbow after the rain, juicy colors of the leaves, and fresh air...

A couple of days ago, I went to the park near to my home. I was there for around 2 hours, but it seemed that just a couple of minutes. I was so into that beauty, it seemed like I am on another planet. I get inspiration from that beauty. I keep wondering how amazing nature is!

This photo is my entry for the travel contest with the theme autumn.

These photos were taken in Istanbul, Turkey. You can see an older stray dog who is trying to get over a small fence. It actually took him several attempts to get over, but he finally made it. Behind the stray is a circular fountain that is part of Topkapi Park. Here's the location on Google Maps. Originally I wanted to photograph him and his two "friends" drinking from the fountain, at the time where I had dug my camera out of the bag, the fountain began however with its "show" whereby the dogs stopped. Sometimes you just have bad luck.
