A Fun-filled Vacation at Resorts World Sentosa~ Singapore

avatar
(Edited)

Located on the southern coast of Singapore, Resort World Sentosa is the country’s first integrated casino, theme park, hotel, entertainment and shopping destination. Visiting the place, you will have an opportunity to explore nature, visit historical landmarks, and enjoy a wide variety of entertainment options. This popular destination of Sentosa is also a perfect place for a day trip or a weekend getaway.

Depending on how much fun you want to have here, you should allocate about two to three days to this place. As Sentosa is very large and home to a large number of gaming attractions, you should take a map as soon as you get off the train to figure out your days' entertainment schedule.

In addition, this is a very crowded destination in the country so I highly recommend getting an Express ticket (VIP) to avoid waiting in a long line to join a game.

Universal Studios Singapore

Universal Studios is a theme park that showcases the scariest, funniest, and most exciting rides from around the world. Located just across from Sentosa Island in Singapore, this theme park opened its doors to the public in 2010 and has been a major attraction since. If you’re planning a trip with your family, there is no better destination for an entire day of fun!

The amusement park will have 28 different rides that are designed to be thrilling and which are guaranteed to leave you breathless.

It features both Hollywood blockbusters and Asian films, which appeals to people of all ages. The parks' rides include the Transformers~The Ride 3-D and Revenge of the Mummy.

SEA Aquarium

Aquarium Sentosa in Singapore is one of the most popular attractions for holidaymakers, both local and foreign. Visitors to this island country can enjoy a wide range of tourist attractions with Aquarium Sentosa Singapore being the perfect stop for young children who are fascinated with marine life. The aquarium is large with multiple tanks filled with colourful aquatic life that people can view through the glass panels.

As an added bonus to this amazing aquarium, guests can experience shark feeding time or walk across a bridge to enjoy views of turtles in their natural habitat.

Adventure Cove Waterpark

image.png

Adventure Cove Waterpark is the first and only waterpark in Singapore. It offers many attractions including a lazy river, wave pool, children's activities, slides, and spas. With a variety of water slides - from gentle to intense - this park is perfect for anyone who wants to cool down.

There's so much fun

The Merlion

The Merlion sculpture stands out as one of the most popular attractions in Singapore and is the iconic symbol of the country. This mythical creature is half lion and half fish.

Update: I'm told that The Merlion is no longer available. It's upset to hear it.

That's all pictures of the place found on my phone, I remember there are still many other attractions on the island and recreational activities such as beaches, Sentosa Nature Discovery, Theatre by the Bay, Wings of time show, Mega Adventure Park, Skyline Luge, ... that you can enjoy during your stay here.

The area also features gardens, parks, museums, shopping centres, golf courses, horseback riding trails, and more. Hence, it's no wonder why this is the destination spot of choice for so many people, especially great for families with young kids. If you are looking for a fun-filled vacation, then Sentosa is a great place to spend time.

Travel Memory: Sentosa 2016.

Hello @trangbaby. I’ll never forget Sentosa in Singapore because I had cherished experiences there too. But it was a long time ago, way before the digital revolution was in full speed. Looks like you had lots of fun in that spectacular resort and I’m glad we have something in common to share. Cheers! 😊

Thank you Erne. I lived in Singapore for 3 years and often visited Sentosa. I really love the place as there was so much fun and things to do there.
I was also a low-tech person at that time (5 years ago), but I did take a lot of selfies 😆😀🙂
Luckily I still keep some pictures
Thanks for coming by, I hope you have a wonderful week ahead ♥️

I read the first batch approved for vaccinated people from Germany and Brunei but we have 180+ cases yesterday so will still have to see how it goes.
