Today, when October has already gained full strength, I want to talk about the main energies of this wonderful autumn month.

October combines the extraordinary beauty of the autumn forest, when everything around literally burns with bright colors, and the slight sadness of parting. We no longer hear the birds - many of them have gone to warmer climes where they will spend the winter months. Yes, the trees are unusually beautiful, but soon their leaves will begin to fall, spinning in a farewell autumn waltz. The grass has already turned yellow and soon it will completely disappear on the gray lifeless earth. The days are getting shorter and shorter. And it’s good if this picture is not complemented by endless autumn rains.

The first frosts are also possible. When I went out into the garden today, I saw that many of my flowers had died, the night frost had killed them. Of course, I'm only talking about their ground part, their roots are alive, but it still looked sad. It is not surprising that many of us feel a slight sadness during this period, and some even real depression.

What is the most important thing in this period? What is it talking about? I would say that this is about the inevitability of changes.

Changes are different and their positive or negative connotation is our subjective attitude. In the end, we often do not know what their outcome will be.

Now everything seems obvious. Summer is over, cold and frost ahead, short gloomy days and long nights. What good can be in all this? How to deal with it?

The first thing to understand is that these changes are inevitable. We can't influence them in any way. Therefore, there is only one option for behavior - to change our attitude to the situation. Of course, you can go to warm countries for the winter, if possible. But I can give an even harsher and more obvious example: aging. Since ancient times, people have been trying to solve this problem. But aging is inevitable. And you can either poison your life, suffering from the first wrinkles, or accept the inevitability of physiological changes in our body and live each age with pleasure.

October is the time of transition. The pace of life slows down, nature is gradually preparing for winter. Surviving the winter is not an easy task. All the energy will be needed, and in order to preserve it, it is very important to leave everything unnecessary in the past so as not to waste precious energy on its maintenance. In addition, everything obsolete and already unnecessary will not allow us to move forward at the pace we need, slows down, deprives us of strength. And the positive energy of October is precisely in the awareness of the need to abandon the unnecessary, obsolete.

What can we do to make this period more comfortable for us?

First, let's take care of the space around us. A clean, comfortable house is what we need. We carry out autumn cleaning with a thorough audit of all things and get rid of everything that is broken, superfluous, not suitable in size, and so on. An important point - we do not buy anything new except when it is really necessary. It's better to revive old favorite things.

Second, take care of yourself! More positive emotions, more rest. A delicious cup of tea or cocoa, a good movie or book is a great way to spend an autumn evening.
