I want FACTS...
Make no mistake, the great news of the year is not that Twitter plans to integrate BTC Lightning tips on its platform, which, if they are so interested in doing it, I do not understand why we do not already have them "IPSOFACTO"...
This news are good for the FOMO but the Twitter announcement may just be good news for Jack Dorsey and his crew to profit from their large BTC wallets.
I suspect that the same thing that happened a few months ago with Elon Musk's FOMO may also happen now with Twitter, heated up the market with his tweets in favor of BTC and DOGE and soon after saying that he withdraws his support for BITCOIN because his blockchain "spends too much electricity" for the moment.
The only thing I am not clear about is what Twitter's excuse will be for not implementing the service in the coming weeks.
I could be wrong and hopefully I am, but I would bet that this news will be forgotten soon or its implementation will be so late that it will not be worth talking about.
We have to have things clearer, these guys move and make more money acting like this, regardless of their legitimate intentions, than executing the promised plan.
A simple message from these powerful people in any social network can make them earn a lot of money, without having to fulfill what the message promises...
Yes guys, the world is like this today, the word is useless, only manipulation is worth and we should get used to it soon because this is the trend.
That is why I value so much what the president of El Salvador has done and that some still dare to make fun of it.
BITCOIN has been recognised as a legal tender in this country and soon many others will join.
El Salvador has made history, and it will be written as the great milestone of BITCOIN from the beginning of the decade.
Nayib Bukele promised and executed it as planned, let's see how long it will take for Dorsey to deploy his promising tipping system around the world.

Sadly manipulation is here to stay, but at least we're on a much more level playing field than with fiat. Those of us who keep our wits about us - who don't fall for FUD and hype - stand a good chance of prospering no matter what the whales do.
To hell with Dorsey and his oppressive platform: they are openly pro-cancel culture. No matter what the one face of his Janus-style head says about Bitcoin, the opposing face says the opposite thing.

Well the way i see it is that crypto hasn't been very smart in implementing the success of the twitter's and facebook and network effect of the tesla's as it were. I would think it would be simpler. We know twitter works as well as facebook very well. People still by the billions use them daily and get their news.
Why not just create a version of your own like bitcoin myk has done. I think the giant hurdle you all can't replicate unlike bitcoin myk is the idea of freemium services. Those sites don't cost masses of people money to use. The crypto space can't seem to find freemium service networks like bitcoin myk that works and can be successful.
So people like Elon and Jack get to come in control the crypto markets.. profit from them. it's the same playbook from the standard economy based on how you all set crypto up. We could have easily set crypto up so we didnt have any problems like this. Satoshi did and Dan Larimer tried with voice.com however the crypto space has been so far behind them in understanding how crypto should work. They increasingly are just replicating crypto into the world we already come over from. In that we use the very same tactics there is no escape from this type of manipulation and control that they can come in at ever interval and impact. When we do like bitcoin myk and focus on freemium services that's when i believe the success of crypto will arrive. Until then it's like watching a trainwreck it really is.
