EL BURRO INTELECTUAL
Por echárselas nomás de intelectual,
cierta vez un burro vagabundo
se compró unos lentes por un real
y fue confiado a conquistar el mundo.
Y resultó que aquel pobre animal,
tropezando a cada rato en el camino
comenzó, desde entonces, a pasarla mal
y a renegar infeliz de su destino.
No volvió a ver las aguas ni pasturas
en los bosques de verde primavera.
De hambre, dicen, murió aquella criatura.
Yo digo, más bien, que de ceguera.
Muchos hay que igualitos a este equino,
ya sea por capricho o por antojos,
por querer cambiar el curso del destino
un estorbo se ponen en los ojos.
