WednesdayWalk #38 By Toffer: The Outside After the Storm

The Reflection of the Storm

Last week a strong severe tropical storm "Nalgae" locally named "Paeng" directly hit our country "The Philippines". This storm is on category no. 4 or signal no. 4 the most affected region is on Bicol Region and some parts of Eastern Visayas. A hundred families were affected by this storm and many municipalities are flooded. Luckily our municipality is not directly hit by the storm I saw with my own eyes the wind is really strong and the rain is so heavy.

Sunday morning I noticed that the strong wind and the heavy rain is gone so I decided to go to the public market and I just walked. While walking I saw a trace of how strong Paeng was. Many leaves fells into the ground and some parts of the road look like many ponds. Like what I found in the parking area of Robinson's Mall I saw a lot of water stuck on the corner of the road.

I found more leaves on the top of the footbridge and some parts of the bridge are also flooded. I used those leaves as my subjects cause I really like the water droplets attached to the leaves.

Even though the storm "Paeng" is almost gone the sky is still really dark It's scattered above the ground so the morning looks like still a night. Every year the Philippines hits by storms so for me this is not new.
