HELLO EVERYONE, THIS IS TOBBY SAX || I'D LIKE TO INTRODUCE MYSELF.
I am Bamidele Oluwatobiloba by name, a.k.a Tobbysax. I come from the western part of Nigeria. I am an undergraduate student of political science at Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba, Ondo State. I am a lover of art and more particularly, music as a branch of it. Music has been something I had embraced since childhood which has been a passion ever since.
Music has been something I find great joy in both by listening and making it. My love for music prompted me to learn some musical instruments like the piano, the saxophone, and the clarinet.
My knowledge of musical instruments has helped improve my singing ability which has brought me thus far getting more used to music. I also enjoy teaching music to those willing to learn.
I started my musical career four years ago. It begun with a musical instrument known as piano. I eventually developed much more interest in music which led to me wanting to know more about a particular instrument known as the "Saxophone"... I got to learn this instrument from my biological father. However, it all started because there was always a platform for learning music in my church.
I kickstarted my saxophone journey from there before I later had to learn from the senior boss who is a person of my biological father. He tutored me on all the basics, rudiments and all I needed to know about saxophone as an instrument.
My piano journey is somewhat weird. Why did I say weird?.... I started by enrolling into a music school which is where my piano learning journey took off from. I had a lot of passion for piano because it appeared to be one of my favorite instruments. During the course of learning this particular instrument, I kind of surprised my tutor in the sense that I learnt faster than expected and I think this is because of the passion and the strong interest that I had in piano. I am a pianist, saxophonist and a clarinetist. I have three sisters who are good musicians as well. One of them plays the saxophone,the second plays guitar, while the third one plays the piano.
I am pretty confident that in the future, we will make a good musical band because I can also sing.
All these characteristics of mine will be made evident in this space called hive especially as I keep creating my contents and meeting new people.
It will be pretty much ungrateful of me not to appreciate a brother and a friend @obaro for introducing me to this awesome platform that gives room for improvement and growth in
their passionate areas. I really look forward to meeting new friends and having lots of fun.
