This is HIVE OPENMIC WEEK 158 and I remain your very own @tobbysax. It is such a privilege and delight to participate in this week's task. I have to commend the beautiful choice of theme by our amiable spotlight artiste of the week @karlex77 for creating such platform for indepth relations.
I'lld be presenting a song titled, "JOYFUL, JOYFUL WE ADORE THEE"....a popularly recognised hymn song . It is usually misinterpreted or categorised under the list of songs only to be sung during the Christmas season. Earlier today, this topic popped up while having a conversation with a friend on if or not this song is a Christmas song which came about me making it a choice of song for my entry this week.
Is the song "JOYFUL, JOYFUL WE ADORE THEE meant to be sung during the Christmas season alone???
In relation and reference to the week's theme which is "LET'S DEFEAT THE DISTANCE ", we would all be breaking down the barriers of distance while I expectantly look forward to your views , perceptions and take on this in the comment section.

Esta es la SEMANA 158 de HIVE OPENMIC y sigo siendo tu propio @tobbysax. Es un privilegio y un placer participar en la tarea de esta semana. Tengo que felicitar la hermosa elección del tema por parte de nuestro amable artista destacado de la semana @karlex77 por ceear tal plataforma para relaciones profundas.
Estaré presentando una canción titulada, "ALEGRÍA, ALEGRÍA TE ADORAMOS"... una canción de himno popularmente reconocida. Por lo general, se malinterpreta o se clasifica en la lista de canciones que solo se cantan durante la temporada navideña. Hoy temprano, este tema apareció mientras conversaba con un amigo sobre si esta canción es o no una canción navideña, lo que me hizo elegir una canción para mi entrada de esta semana.
¿La canción "ALEGROSOS, GOZOSOS TE ADORAMOS" está pensada para ser cantada solo durante la temporada navideña?
En relación y referencia al tema de la semana que es "DERROTEMOS LA DISTANCIA", todos estaríamos rompiendo las barreras de la distancia mientras espero con ansias sus puntos de vista, percepciones y opiniones sobre esto en la sección de comentarios.

In my opinion, the song is suitable for Christmas. Even though it has different tunes to different cultures and people.
But what it sounds is Christmas. You're already brining the Christmas aroma near already.

Nice playing and very nice editing. I guess its hard to hear this without feeling like its Christmas. The sound of this made me feel like its Christmas time in the Victorian era and Im sat snuggly by the fireplace listening to the carol singers out in the snow. A very nostalgic and well-performed tune, well done!
