I could remember when I was very little, whenever I was told to touch my "mind" I usually point to my chest 😂😂 and that's because the most conventional method I saw people doing then was that they point to the chest whenever they're making references to the mind 😄 I never knew the mind is actually the brain.

So in essence, what is an heathly mind?. An healthy mind is an emotionally balanced state portrayed by a person in other to be proactive and productive in their day to day activities. However, this very state work in pair with healthy life

Healthy mind sounds like something that is not strange to anyone but the point of fact is that most people don't really have healthy minds even though they try to convince themselves of having it.

This state of life is somewhat critical for both rich and poor because wealth doesn't really give you healthy mind just as poverty doesn't really stipulate an unhealthy mind.

So in this regard, I'd like to talk about 10 things to engage yourself into in other to maintain and keep yourself in track of healthy mind.

1. MAINTAIN POSITIVITY

This factor happens to be the most effective when it comes to having an healthy mind. However, positivity is quite difficult to maintain because in one way or another people are experiencing failures, breakup, disappointment, unfaithfulness and more which are in most cases the reasons why people find it so difficult to stay positive. What most of us forget is that staying positive is actually reciprocal because showing positivity to people around puts you in the best position of having positivity in return. Although, this might not necessarily come from those whom you have showed it to. Therefore, consideration of this act gives you a perfectly healthy mind.

2. LEARNING

Study as shown to us that someone who enjoys to keep learning new things will most likely be far from unhealthy mind. This is because, the only thing a learner is going after is developing his or her knowledge which gives a perfect mental health.

3. MAINTAIN GOOD NUTRITION

We all know that an hungry man is an angry man 😂😂😂😂. Therefore eating of food adequately bings to unexpected healthy mind. However, not just injesting anyhow food to fill your belly but rather a good nutritional meal for this has a crutial role to play in your body system to be able to maintain an emotionally balanced mind

4. KEEP FIT

This happens to be my favorite because it's my daily routine. Fitness is so lovely and should practice by everyone. This is not to say that everyone has to join a gym membership cause it's definitely a misconception to categorically say that fitness necessarily has to come from the gym. People get really lazy when it comes to becoming fit simply because they think it has to do with lifting of heavy irons. A life of fitness is infact having a good nutrition like reducing calories intake, taking a walk, road jog, light home workouts. This really helps the body metabolism and inturn creates a good chance for mental alertness.

When trying to achieve a life of healthy mind, laughing is not to be ignored. Lately there are loads of science fact about laughing which you might not have heard before and I'd like to share few with us so that we can see how laughing is greatly related to healthy life. Laughing for 15 minutes in a day can assist you in loss of weight, Laughing heavily brings oxygen to the lungs than the usual breathing, laughing makes you stress-free and releases endorphins to the body systems which gives you an heathy mindset.

6. VISIT FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Someone who finds joy in paying visits to family and friends will most likely experience healthy mind because this actually stipulate a loving and caring attitude which definitely goes in the same track as healthy mind.

7. REDUCE ALCOHOL INTAKE

Alcohol intake has actually become so paramount amongst everyone that people aren't even seeing it as an harm anymore. Too much intake of alcohol is not only detrimental to your health but also gives you loads of depression. Thus, reducing or putting a stop to the intake of alcohol will definitely play a crutial role in the life of someone who is seeking to maintain a positive and healthy mindset.

8. ABSTAIN FROM DRUGS

Useage of drug is more or less like a cousin to the intakes of alcohol but deadlier and has more disadvantages. On a micro level, a drugged person tends to feel depression when he/she isn't meant to but on a macro level, a drugged person get easily provoked compare to when he or she isn't on drugs. This very attitude definitely shows an unhealthy mind and putting a stop to it will definitely make you turn a new leaf.

9. GENEROUSITY

Here is also one of my favorites. A generous person person will in no way have an unhealthy mind as he/she must have fufilled all it takes to maintain healthy mind. 10. HAVING ENOUGH SLEEP

Scientific facts made it clear to us that someone who wants a clear and rational life is meant to be sleeping 8 hours per day. In my experience, lack of enough sleep makes you feel headache at the back of the head which hurts so much. Also, having enough time for sleep makes you stress free and enhances your chance of having and healthy mind.
