Is it the same in your country where matcha drinks and food are booming? Although matcha was popular years ago, it's making a comeback this year. I don't know what started it. Influencers started showing off their matcha, from local brands to those directly from Japan. Not only that, they also competed to prepare matcha drinks the traditional way using a chasen (a traditional matcha stirrer).

Suddenly, people flocked to buy everything matcha-related. From drinks and coffee to cakes and even matcha ramen soup.

What about me? Although I don't have FOMO, I've seen videos of matcha everywhere. When I passed by Purwokerto's town square and saw an ice cream shop, I impulsively went in because it happened to be very hot outside.

Actually, there are a lot of similar franchises with different brands. It's like business competition is starting to mushroom. I've tried at least three brands.

After entering, I went straight to the counter and chose the Red Bean Matcha Sundae. After paying, I had to wait a bit. While they prepared my order, I wandered around and took photos of the ice cream shop.

Wedrink's interior is a mix of white and turquoise, creating a bright yet soft feel. I love their turquoise color, which seems to evoke a soft feeling.

Some of the seating consists of round tables and chairs with white backs, while in another corner, next to the window, there's a row of rectangular tables and matching chairs.

Inside, there's a white lounge chair. Next to it is a children's lounge area. The air conditioning works well, making the air inside very cool and comfortable.

There's also a washbasin and a well-maintained bathroom.

After finishing my tour, I returned to the counter to find my order ready. A regular-sized cup of matcha sundae and red bean was ready. I enjoyed it while heading back to the hotel to rest.
