Sunsets at Manly Beach, Sydney NSW Australia.

My favorite place to be watching sunsets, is siting by the beach, just listening to them waves crashing on the shoreline there is no where else to be but by the beach enjoying the breeze of the ocean watching a sunset slowing falling behind the horizon. Manly beach was always one of my favorite beaches to drive to on a weekend crossing over the from the southern shores to the northern shores felt like going on a holiday for me.

Manly Beach is one of our Northern Beaches in Sydney, Australia, a very popular beach amongst Australia locals and world tourist for me it was about a 30km drive from were, I was living been on the Southern Beaches, I would have to cross over our famous Harbor Bridge to get over to the Norther Beaches is why, I say it felt like, I was going on a holiday the two reasons, I use to love going to Manly beach was for the fresh seafood restaurants by the beach and the beaches have warmer waters on the northern side been closer to the tropics.

Manly beach not only has some of the of most stunning sunsets been closer to the tropics, it is also one of the best surf beaches on the northern coastline. The main street that runs along the beach is lined with tall palm trees where you can bring your picnic basket light up the provided barbecues and cook yourself some steaks and sausages the atmosphere really makes you feel like you were on vacation.

The one main reason why Manly beach is so well know by surfers around the world, is because it was here that the world's first surfing contest took place in 1964 so it became the birthplace for all the surfers in Australia, so if your looking for the best surf and the most stunning sunsets Manly beach is the one that, I would head to as a local or a tourist.
