Hue Beach Hidden Gem, Phuket, Thailand.
Phuket Island in Thailand is one of the biggest islands of Thailand and is known by many tourist from abroad that it has the most picturesque beaches there certainly are no shortage of beaches on this paradise island, many are accessible from the main road that runs around the island and others are more hidden were you need to access them through dirt tracks running through jungles and rain-forest and these are the beaches, I like to stubble on the hidden gems.
I always like to make it more challenging by getting of the usual tourist tracks and find my own little hidden gem beaches the more popular beaches don't bring any challenge to me when they are just walking distance of the main road, I like to get lost amongst the unknown hidden tracks away from the boring tourist areas losing myself in the jungle and today we found yet another pristine beach of the beaten track, at the beginning there is a concrete pathway from the main road but that only goes as far as this little gorgeous bar on the mountain top, we decided to have some breakfast here then move on through the jungle down to Hue beach.

)
Finishing up breakfast and taking in the stunning views from the mountain top bar, it was time to move on and not only 20 meters away from the breakfast bar the concrete pathway ended and we were now tracking our way through the jungle down towards the Hue beach some paths were evident that some had been down to this beach but not all dirt track there were still many small boulders we had to climb over.

At times we were stopping and wondering if we were heading the right direction and not come to a steep cliff side and fall of the edge, it really is all guess work but as long as you point yourself towards the ocean and just keep walking you can't go wrong we, were seeing the Andaman sea peeking at us through the jungle, so it looked like we were going in the right direction, then all of sudden we hit flatter ground coming out of the jungle and came to this opening through these trees and knew we were not far from Hue beach after hiking for about one hour through the rain-forest and jungle.
Walking towards the Andaman Sea after coming out into that beautiful jungle opening down about 200 meters we came to this small patch of pure white sand surrounded by these huge boulders and we couldn't wait to dive in to cool ourselves of.
We had challenged ourselves with the hike through the unknown jungle getting bitten by mosquitoes along the way but at the other end we were rewarded with blue clear crystal waters and fine white sand and it made it all worthwhile rather here then on a crowded tourist beach, this is much my preferred paradise.
Over the other side of us was the tourist resort beach called Kamala Beach Resort but it was a long swim over to that beach so we just stayed in our little pristine beach soaking up vitamin D enjoying the tranquility and peacefulness with no beach vendors, no jet skis or anyone to bother us for that matter, we swam around had a little nap then, it was time to climb back up through the jungle we came out of there was no other way out from here but it didn't matter exercise hurts no one and we were going to have late afternoon lunch and enjoy the sunset at that small mountain bar we encountered on our way down.
