Elephants of Thailand.

I have been in Thailand long enough to know and understand why the Elephants of Thailand are the national animal of Thailand and so well respected, Elephants here in Thailand have played many major and important roles throughout Thailand's history for many years starting with their presence in been used to help out in wars and then became hard working Elephants helping out the Thai people with there tree logging and after all there hard duties and commitments they become the national symbol in many royal parades these courageous majestic animals have surly earned the respect and love from the Thai people.

Today they are well taken care of there are many Elephant camps around Thailand that look after there well-bring and most of these camps are found in the northern part of Thailand where there is vast land and rivers they can roam around freely with there young babies without any danger coming to them. I visited one of the biggest Elephant camps in Chiang Mai north of Thailand called the Elephant Nature Park and they also do many other animal rescue services apart from taking care of these majestic Elephants, it was very eye opening to see how happy these Elephant's were and how much fun they were having they were all so friendly, it really was a joy to have seen this I just love these huge big guys.
