Beautiful Wat Yansang Wararam – Buddhist Temple.

I had heard that Wat Yansang Wararam Buddhist Temple complex in Pattaya, was a place to see and not to be missed if your even in Pattaya, Thailand the temple is about 20km out from Pattaya city and easily accessible by taxi, once you are at the Wat Yansang Wararam temple complex, it is best to look at the map layout displayed at the entrance of the temple complex and best to make a day of it, as there is around about 145 acres to cover displaying several temples of all very different architectural styles, as well there are beautifully manicured gardens and two large lake one lake full of lotus flowers making the complex a relaxing and peaceful place to walk around.

In this temple grounds you will see many designs of architectural styles a mixture of Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Thai and you will not only see temples there are many monuments, including one of King Prajadhipok and the Queen mother of Thailand.

Unfortunately when, I got there it decided to rain but that wasn't going to stop me walking around it's only water but it did make it difficult to photograph competing against the rain and the gray sky but it did have it's advantages rain drops on the lotus flowers at the lotus lake looked pretty cool.

I decided to go in and see what was in the beautiful white Buddhagaya Pagoda Temple to get out of the rain for a bit and hoping that the rain would stop by the time, I came out, walking towards this temple was just amazing looking at the architectural design reminded me of Indian and Thai style temple, it was just gorgeous looking at it from a distance and up close.

Inside this White Buddhagaya Pagoda Temple is the remains of the a famous Monk and his teachings of Buddhism of more then 2,600 years ago followed with walls of gallery paintings around the temple of all the meanings and saying about what the Buddhism religion represents was definitely very interesting to read.

When I came out of this temple it was still raining but not so heavy, I made my way over to Phra Maha Mondop Temple this is another beautiful white temple and inside this large white temple is where the Buddhist stupa are kept from a number of well know Monks and his followers from years ago. Thai's believe coming to this temple and praying to all the ashes of these once powerful Monks of the pass will bring them good luck and success in there lives.

Wat Yansangwararam was built in 1976 and was dedicated to the Supreme Patriarch Somdet Phra Yanasangwon and is one of the few free to enter tourist attractions in Pattaya, which, I was quite surprised for the amount of effort and time that goes into maintaining 145 acres of buildings and gardens but you can always make donations in the donation boxes placed in the temples.

The beautiful large gardens and lakes give you a very serene and tranquil atmosphere a great place to relax and have a little lunching by the restaurant near the lake and if you want to try a little meditation they have daily classes they offer during the hours of 6 am and 6 pm. For me it has been one of the most impressive temples in Pattaya and was really worth the visit even though it wasn't the best of days weather wise, I still enjoyed my day at this amazing temple complex.
