MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY 3 20TH APRIL 2022

Summary of what I learnt from the teachings of brother Eli on our Mass indoctrination.

I learnt that As true Christians God is the last one we can turn to when we are in trouble or in need. Praying is a commandment of Christ.
John 9:31 This portion of the Bible is telling us that God does not listen to sinners. if a sinner prays to God it will be in vain because God does not listen to the prayer of a sinner. God only listens to to people who respect him and obey his commandments. and do whatever God wants.

Matthew 6:7-8. This scripture is telling us that whenever we are praying as christians we should not use a lot of meaningless words, as the pagans do. the pagans think that their gods will only hear them if their prayers are long. the Bible is telling us not to be like such people because our heavenly father in heaven knows everything so even before we ask our heavenly father already knows what we need. he already knows our heart desires.
It is prohibited by God for us to pray repititively. there's no need for christians to pray repititively because even before we utter the words God already knows what we want to ask for.

Isaiah 65:24 This portion of the Bible explains it all. It says even before christains finish their prayers to him, he will answer us.
This goes to say that praying repititively is like pesting God or saying he is deaf. Praying to boast and show off is also prohibited.

Matthew 6:5 This scripture explains it all, it says when we pray we pray we should not do it like the hypocrites that prefers to stand up and pray in the houses of worship and on the street corners where everything can easily see us. because when you pray with the intention to show off or boast you already have your reward in full.

praying should not be done to show off to men it is wrong in the sight of God. praying where people will see you makes you an hypocrite.

Mark 11:25 This portion of the Bible is telling us that before we make our request known God we should forgive anything that we have against anyone. if you do this our father in heaven will forgive you too.
