MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY 2 19TH APRIL 2022
Summary of what I learnt from the teachings of brother Eli on our Mass indoctrination held on zoom.
In the Bible there is only one church unlike nowadays that have thousands of churches all over the world. What was stated in the Bible was not ministry or witness, the proper name of the congregation built by Christ through God the father is called the Church of God. Because the name of the congregation should be called after the father when Paul went out of judaism he was called into the church of God.
Galatians 1:14-15 In this scripture Paul was the one talking. he was saying he was part of the jewish religion. and he was very devoted to the customs and traditions of their ancestors. But even before Paul was born God had already chosen him from his mother's womb to serve him
2 Corinthians 1:1 This scripture is saying that Paul is an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God.
The meaning of the word ecclesiastes is the calling out.
John 11:52 This scripture is saying that all the scattered people of God should be called into one body. which is the church the body of Christ
They were called and gathered in one body which is the church.
In our world today there are so many churches today. while the Bible teaches us otherwise. The mentioned only one church in the Bible, and that is the church of God
1 Corinthians 11:22 If you read through this portion of the Bible you will see that the church of God was mentioned.
Ephesians 4:4 This portion of the Bible is telling us that there is only one spirit, and there is only one hope to which God has called you.
Colossians 1:18 This portion of the Bible is telling us that Christ is the head of the body, and the body here is the church. Jesus Christ is the only source of the body's life; the church. Our Lord Jesus is the first born son who was raised from death. And for that reason him alone has the first place in return m every thing.
Proverbs 18:10 This portion of the Bible is telling us that the Lord is a strong tower, where only the righteous ones can go and have safety.
The name of God is like a hiding place, like a defense for all Christians to run to.
