A reflex hunter out of Hive. // Un cazador de reflejos fuera de Hive

Happy day to all. Weekend again, the best days to rest, browse the Hive community and entertain myself with posted photos!

Today I don't bring you photos of my hunts for reflections or shadows, today I have a very nice story that happened to me about a month ago and until today I have the opportunity to publish the post about it.

I hope that the curators, administrators of the Shadowhunters community understand the impression it caused me and the reason why I am publishing this post.

I want to clarify that none of the photos I show in this post are my property. They are all owned by a photographer named Felix Gerardi, his Instagram account is FotoGerardi, so you can visit him and give him a like if you like his work.

Back to my story, about a month ago I decided to treat myself to a morning of culture, so I went straight to the National Art Gallery here in Caracas, Venezuela.

After the tour through the halls, admiring the paintings and artworks of renowned Venezuelan painters and artists, one of the hostesses recommended me to visit the hall on the upper floor, where there was an exhibition of modern art.

So I went upstairs and the first thing I saw when I entered was a lot of photos on the walls. They didn't catch my attention, so without further ado I turned back and at that moment a stout, gray-haired man in his 60's intercepted me and said "you played with the photos" ... I looked at him a bit puzzled and then he pointed to a photograph and asked me what do you see?

I looked carefully at the photos and realized that Felix Gerardi had photos of reflections on display, all his photos were taken after a rain, taking advantage of the puddles of water on the asphalt, accumulated in the squares or sliding down the gutters!

As he appreciated great admiration for his exhibition called "Fractales, una voluntad por reinventar otra Urbe", he gave me a booklet where some of his best photos were and that I show here along with photos taken directly from his Instagram account.

I found it very interesting to show the reflections of this photographer with more than 35 years of experience in photojournalism who is dedicated to hunt reflections, without knowing that in Hive there is a community dedicated to hunt reflections.

By the way, I told him about this community and he told me that he was authorized to talk about his work.

Feliz día a todos. Nuevamente fin de semana, los mejores días para descansar, navegar por la comunidad Hive y entretenerme con las fotos publicadas!

Hoy no les traigo fotos de mis cacerías de reflejos o sombras, hoy les tengo una historia muy simpática que me ocurrió hace aproximadamente un mes y hasta hoy tengo la oportunidad de publicar el post al respecto.

Espero que los curadores, administradores de la comunidad de cazadores de Sombras entiendan la impresión que me causó y la razón por la que estoy publicando este post.

Quiero aclarar que ninguna de las fotos que muestro en este post son de mi propiedad. Todas son propiedad de un fotógrafo llamado Felix Gerardi, su cuenta de Instagram es FotoGerardi, para que le visiten y le den un like si les gusta su trabajo.

Volviendo a mi historia, hace aproximadamente un mes decidí regalarme una mañana de cultura, así que me fui derechito a la Galería de Arte Nacional aquí en la Ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela.

Luego del recorrido por las salas, admirando las pinturas y obras de arte de reconocidos pintores y artistas venezolanos, una de las anfitrionas me recomendó visitar el salón en el piso superior, donde había una exhibición de arte moderno.

Así que subí y lo primero que vi al entrar fue una gran cantidad de fotos en las paredes. No me llamaron la atención, así que sin más me devolví y en ese momento un hombre robusto, canoso de unos 60 años me interceptó y me dijo “jugaste con las fotos” … yo lo miré un tanto perpleja y entonces me señaló una fotografía y me preguntó Qué ves?

Observé detenidamente las fotos y me di cuenta que Felix Gerardi tenía en exhibición fotos de reflejos, todas sus fotos fueron tomadas luego de una lluvia, aprovechando los charcos de agua en el asfalto, acumulados en las plazas o deslizándose por las alcantarillas!

Como apreció gran admiración por su exhibición llamada “Fractales, una voluntad por reinventar otra Urbe”, me regaló un folleto donde se encontraban algunas de sus mejores fotos y que aquí muestro junto con fotos tomadas directamente de su cuenta de Instagram.

Me pareció muy interesante mostrar los reflejos de este fotógrafo con más de 35 años de experiencia en el fotoperiodismo que se dedica a cazar reflejos, sin saber que en Hive existe una comunidad dedicada a cazar reflejos.

Por cierto le hablé de esta comunidad y me dijo que tenía autorización para hablar sobre su trabajo.
