Eso de que en Venezuela el mes de mayo sea el mes de las flores, me está dando la impresión de que es algo relativo, porque si bien es verdad que muchas flores, tales como las de árboles emblemáticos como el araguaney, el apamate, la acacia, entre otras, surgen simultáneamente durante este mes, también es cierto que durante el resto del año florean otras especies. Esto se ha hecho más evidente para mí, desde que tenemos un hermoso árbol al frente de mi casa, que casi sin que nos diéramos cuenta, creció allí y en agosto es cuando alcanza su máximo esplendor, al ponerse como un perfecto ramillete cuyas flores de color amarillo quedan alineadas como si hubieran sido organizadas por un programa informático.

A lo largo de mi vida he disfrutado plenamente de la naturaleza, sin tomar en consideración la época del año en que nos encontremos, esto debido a que nosotros en Venezuela solamente contamos con un periodo de lluvia y otro de sequía, debido a que, como la mayoría de ustedes conocen, nosotros somos un país tropical, por lo cual no tenemos las cuatro estaciones del año, como si las hay en otros países, ubicados en otros meridianos de nuestro planeta.

Cabe destacar que las condiciones del clima en Venezuela ha variado notablemente, como resultado del cambio climático que en los últimos años ha afectado notablemente a todo nuestro planeta y que, en nuestro caso, ha generado un gran desequilibrio en cuanto a estos periodos de lluvia y sequía que cada vez son más irregulares.

De regreso al tema de las flores, les digo que me di cuenta de que el árbol de las flores amarillas, que tanto me gustó, floreaba en agosto, porque el año pasado, cuando hice mi primer post para hive, lo acompañé con unas fotografías que me tomé justo delante de ese árbol y ahora en este mes de agosto cuando se cumple un año de eso, coincide con la floración del mismo árbol.

Por lo tanto, durante todo el año he visto como el mencionado árbol se transforma constantemente y me ha llevado a ser una curiosa observadora de todo el cambio que se produce en el resto de la vegetación que me rodea, así he conocido multitud de flores y distintos tipos de plantas que antes no me llamaban la atención de la manera como ahora lo hacen.

Así que al tomar en cuenta todo lo anteriormente dicho, quise hacer esta muestra de flores, con algunas fotografías tomadas durante este mes, que para mí, son un reflejo de que en Venezuela agosto también es un mes de las flores.

Con esto termino mi publicación del día de hoy, espero que le haya gustado y disfrutado de esta galería de hermosas y coloridas flores, captadas en los alrededores de mi casa: algunas pertenecen a plantas sembradas en las jardineras de las aceras o veredas,otras en los jardines de algunas casas vecinas y por supuesto está presente el árbol floreado de amarillo que inició todo este tema y que ahora sé que se llama mucuteno.

That in Venezuela the month of May is the month of flowers, is giving me the impression that it is something relative, because although it is true that many flowers, such as those of emblematic trees like the araguaney, the apamate, the acacia, among others, emerge simultaneously during this month, it is also true that during the rest of the year other species bloom. This has become more evident to me, since we have a beautiful tree in front of my house, which almost without us noticing, grew there and in August is when it reaches its maximum splendor, when it becomes a perfect bouquet whose yellow flowers are aligned as if they had been organized by a computer program.

Throughout my life I have fully enjoyed nature, without taking into consideration the time of the year in which we find ourselves, this because we in Venezuela only have a period of rain and another of drought, because, as most of you know, we are a tropical country, so we do not have the four seasons of the year, as if there are in other countries, located in other meridians of our planet.

Although, it should be noted that the conditions of the climate in Venezuela have varied noticeably, as a result of the climate change that in recent years has affected our entire planet and that, in our case, has generated a great imbalance in terms of these periods of rain and drought that are becoming more and more irregular.

Back to the subject of flowers, I tell you that I realized that the tree with the yellow flowers, which I liked so much, bloomed in August, because last year, when I made my first post for hive, I accompanied it with some photographs that I took right in front of that tree and now in this month of August when it is one year since that, this coincides with the flowering of the same tree.

Therefore, throughout the year I have seen how the aforementioned tree is constantly transforming and has led me to be a curious observer of all the change that occurs in the rest of the vegetation around me, so I have met a multitude of flowers and different types of plants that previously did not call my attention in the way they do now.

So taking into account all of the above, I wanted to make this sample of flowers, with some photographs taken during this month, which for me are a reflection of the fact that in Venezuela August is also a month of flowers.

I hope you liked and enjoyed this gallery of beautiful and colorful flowers, captured in the surroundings of my house: some belong to plants planted in the sidewalk planters, others in the gardens of some neighboring houses and of course there is the yellow flowered tree that started this whole topic and now I know it is called mucuteno.
