Unexpected Beach BBQ - What A Lovely & Memorable Evening!

Grinding!
I'm not as actively posting my stuff as I was before, this is mainly because I'm really grinding hard behind the scenes to make some business ideas work. I've spent so many hours/days/weeks learning by taking a course and bringing it into practice. At the time that I started I had a totally different idea of what I was going to use the new skills for, namely build a Twitter account using AI mostly so that I could gain an audience and sell products later. While I've learned SO MUCH and the money was absolutely worth it, I started to see things clear in a different way, meaning that I have not even used it for my Twitter content once, lol.
I guess I love writing myself way too much to let AI do the biggest part for me. And probably it's also a mindset created by being a content creator on Hive, I take too much pride in what I do to let some machine take over everything. Either way, there's a holy middle ground to utilize AI for other purposes to help you be more efficient. For example, what I did find very useful was doing research and use the output to create a content matrix tailored to my future audience. This is such a great help for the moments without inspiration. It's not connected to a date or anything so you can just use it to pull inspiration.

Business vs pleasure
For now, I'm not going to mix my business stuff here with Hive as I'm trying to find my way in this new world where I learn something new every day. While I've seen the numbers go up every day, for now I wish to keep this to myself until I have some kick ass milestone to share, lol.
Therefore I will just keep my hive blog for my daily life stuff as there is so much to share still.
Great memories
While it's 35+ degrees over here in Spain, you already saw we went dipping into the sea twice last weekend. What I didn't share was our Friday evening though. This was a memorable one and a very welcome chill evening.

We planned on going to a tapa bar which we heard should be good but upon arrival we were just a little early and instead of waiting there, we decided to take a walk in our old neighbourhood (read where we spent our first two weeks in an AirBNB last year). We walked towards the beach and when we were walking there, this amazing BBQ scent was taking over our brain because we LOVE barbeque and not having an outside space is well, shit because it also means we can't have our own summer BBQ evening.

We followed the scent to a nice little beach bar where we noticed a sign, BBQ tonight from 8, reserve here. Most tables were already reserved but we still had a place on the beach near a playground. So our daughter went to the playground, we could see her from our table, and we sat there enjoying a drink. No shoes! Nope when on the beach, it's barefoot, lol.

Expectations vs reality
We actually had much higher expectations, first, they didn't serve any food until 21.30 (quite normal here though) while we constantly smelled the BBQ fumes and were bloody hungry by that time. They seemed to wait until most tables were taken and every reservation was filled, when we finally had our first tapa, we had this tiny slice of baguette with a tiny piece of bacon on it, lol. That's it! I was looking at this and thought oh my god, of course this will take like 10 tapas before we had enough. Admittedly, it tasted nice but we could not choose our tapa so it was going to be a surprise constantly. It was so tiny that I forgot to take a picture of the tapa, lol.

We decided to head to another place around 10 PM and had some food there. Even though the food was not what we expected, our daughter got to play for 1,5 hours in the playground and we had a good chat about everything we're both currently working on. Good company made it a wonderful evening and sitting there, I realized so many times that I'm freaking happy to be here, even though we want some other things for the longer term, I feel super grateful for being here and I would not change it back for the world!
Good for the mind
These kind of evenings really give me such a great energy boost as well because inspiration and ideas flow whenever we're both in that vibe and I'm writing it all down for future moments when I'm ready to work on these things. Step by step, things are going to be great!
Forgive me when I'm absent for a bit longer than normal, I try to check in on Hive every day, and throw some PIMP tips as well as go through the comments. Soon I will have more time again, probably when school starts halfway through September.
For now, finishing up some of my tasks for today and then hopefully dive in the sea after the boyfriend finishes working..
Have a great day!

I'm glad your daughter got to play for while you relaxed! Sounds like a great evening except for the food. In Spain they do serve everything late! At least you finally moved onto someplace you could eat later on (even if it wasn't quite up to your expectations!)
Real life trumps time online, so if you take a break it's ok. Some days I'm more active than others as well, and some days I just take off if I just don't have time.
To respond to your last question in the other post (rather than jumping back and forth) I've been on prednisone to calm things down, which I hate. But I'm not 21 anymore, I guess I just have to roll with the punches. At least it keeps me off crutches even if I'm still limping around! The ticker is holding up ok too! Any progress with the MRI problems there? Driving there just to schedule an appointment seems so silly, especially with a hot, boring drive.
I'm glad you guys had a nice night out and your daughter had fun! Sounds like a great night!
!PIMP

a beautiful walk and beach
\good luck with your new ventures
I have to be honest i have seen a lot of talk about AI but never have looked into it
Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)
Yes now that I embraced the (not so great) beach finally (lol) I agree it was great.
I'm secretly hoping that we find another similar spot this weekend to hang out for the evening.
Bonus points because it was not so humid and just perfect to be out..
Well, I was the same but for my boyfriend's business it's used quite often and a time saver so at some point I could not ignore his tips anymore. I have 0 knowledge about using it for images, unfortunately. In terms of writing, I will probably never or rarely use it in the near future, but it's great to get quick data on research, write out business plans, strategies etc..
Have a good day!
good Luck with finding a nice spot for the weekend
I can see AI could be useful for many things but for now with what I do its not something I will try
AI, like every other tool can be used to build or destroy. Being on Hive has taught me to appreciate my own creativity, so I totally get how you feel with AI doing the work for you. It's like having it steal the joy in writing...
About the tepas and the BBQ spot, it's quite a bummer that you couldn't feel satisfied there and needed to visit somewhere else afterwards. Thankfully, your adorable daughter enjoyed her time there. That's a plus, I guess, and that the food tasted great still.
