CCC's Street Art Contest #101 Entry: Eyes!!!
My personal favorite eye!
Street art is everywhere here!
I've been truly amazed and often in awe when bumping onto street art here in the area where we're staying just one more day. When we were staying at the coast in Roquetas de Mar, a few of the local artists are polishing up the ugly walls every single day! I will share some examples of their work in another post, but the ones I'm sharing today are worthy of their own post!
These eyes caught my eye from a distance when we passed the work while driving. I decided to make sure to capture them when I had time to walk in that direction. When my daughter and I were walking to the churros place I realized these artworks were somewhere on our route. I took the time to take them in and capture them for this post as they are too good not to share!
Eyes staring at you from a distance
You can't pass these artworks without noticing them. The first one I will share is the one with a blue and green eye. I personally love how the eyes look, but when you look at the total work from a distance, you notice the finger in the ear as well as the cyborg ear on the other side of her head..
My favorite part of this work, I love how the green and purple are so vibrant. Really nicely done!
And a few more bigger pictures of the left and right side that are totally different. I wonder if the artist did this or that someone altered it later..
Eyes only
I think it's safe to say that the blue solo eye is the one that really grabs your attention. You can see below how REAL this eye looks and how well this is actually done, especially in close up.
The brown eye is great too, but you probably get what I mean, the blue one pops off the wall even more!

I was happy to find the signature of the artist although I can't read it properly myself, it seems the work dates back from 2019. If you can read it, please let me know in a comment as I would love to see if I can find the artist to tell him about Hive! Location of this work is Roquetas de Mar, southern Spain.

I tried to find the artist, but I have no clue. The blue eye is the best!
LOL, so I wasn't the only one that could not discover the name written there..
But yes, it's amazing, I can't get enough of it even on picture!

The eyes have it. I have always heard that the eyes are the hardest to paint but this artist does great eyes. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome street art! I can make out Alvaro Diaz? but when I look it up it's hard to find anything 🙃.
Good find, I will google that name as well as I think that's indeed what it says.. doesn't mean that he shared much online of course.. let's see what I can find..

Wow! Such realistic eyes. I really love this kind of street art nowadays.
